When Clark was a kid, I feel like his parents might’ve just said he was autistic or something and honestly, it would’ve made sense. I can totally picture him being that one kid at school assemblies wearing big noise-canceling headphones, quietly overwhelmed by all the sound and movement. He probably hated being touched because it made him feel overstimulated, and he’d get panic attacks pretty easily. But even with all that, he was still a cheerful, kind kid—he could hold a conversation, make friends, smile at strangers. Christmas is coming up and all I can think about is the fact that Andrew and Aaron probably hate Christmas, but only participate for Katelynn and Neil.

Aaron making sure to send Andrew Christmas cards back when he was in juvie. Decked out with updates on life, a photo of their Christmas tree, and little drawings. Only to get no response.
