Ragnar Lothbrok x Freydis Agmundsdottir (OFC)

Warnings; Lagertha exists but she and Ragnar ended things peacefully. Infidelity, Time period accurate sexism, AFAB (assigned female at birth) O!FC, Dub-Con, Sexual Coercion, Coercion, Sexual Manipulation, Oral Sex (F receiving) Dirty Talk, Unprotected sex, Breeding Kink (I fully believe Ragnar has a breeding kink) angst, stillbirth/loss of a child and/or children. Aslaug bashing, the only children Ragnar has are the ones Freydis births and Bjorn.

Earl Agmund Haraldson never thought losing to Ragnar Lothbrok would be so humiliating - he was confident in his Jarldom over Kattegat. Confident the city would bloom and he would maintain control over everything

Including his daughter: Freydis.

But when Lagertha chooses the Jarl’s illegitimate daughter to be Ragnar’s second wife it triggers a ripple of something that cannot be controlled.

Call it fate, call it luck.

Freydis calls it love and she knows it’ll echo through time. Sung in halls to crowds or told to children in their beds when the sun goes down.

Plot: In a blink of an eye, Alex Jordan was thrown from her peaceful hike in the Canadian Rockies right into the middle of the Battle of Wakanda. Alex finds herself sucked into a world she's seen on the big screen, alongside superheroes and villains. Heroes who start turning to dust in front of her! Only, things don't quite go as she remembers in the movies. As she tries to find her footing in this new reality, she finds herself drawn to Sam Wilson, the man tapped to be the next Captain America. But this isn't the movies, this is a real man with real challenges ahead of him. Now she's helping Sam feel worthy of a legacy he never asked for, while trying to figure out her new-found powers that seem to be linked to the Reality Stone itself.

Alex's chapter titles are based on jazz songs.

Essie Shelby sighed as she looked at her paper. All over the front page plastered like black and white was news of Argentinas First Lady Eva “Evita” had died. They said it was sickness - Essie knew a lot about sickness

Her eyes found the black and white photo of her brothers. John had died from sickness, Arthur had died from sickness and Tommy was almost 63 suffering with Rheumatoid Arthritis and what the doctors called Cancer.

“What yeh lookin’ at?”

“Paper” Essie’s response was quiet “A lady in Argentina died. Where’s that?”

“South America” Tommy’s answer was quiet, he always made sense.
