to anybody who may need to hear this right now.
you are worthy of being delighted in. god delights in you. the people around you delight in you. your presence brings others delight, even if you don’t think so, i promise you do.
you deserve to delight in every joy life gives you, and even through every hardship and every bad thing that happens to you and happens in the world, we may not fully understand why these things happen, but god is with us to delight in us and how we get through every trial and difficulty life gives us.
god delights in everyone. in you, even when you dont feel worthy of being delighted in, in the people (specifically marginalized people) who arent treated as if they deserve to be delighted in. god delights in them, and we should act the same.
(this was a little message from my neighbor who was recently ordained as a priest who gave this as his homily message today)

Jonathan Roumie (who plays Jesus in the series The Chosen and is Catholic) met Pope Leo! The cast of The Chosen recently finished filming the crucifixion scene in Italy for season 6, and I cannot imagine how emotional that must have been for him and the cast and crew. It must have been so meaningful to meet the Pope and be at the Vatican after that.
Sometimes, social media makes me aggravated, but most of the time, I am thankful to live in a time when these moments can be captured and shared, and I am given the opportunity to make a blog like this.

Jesus still loves you when you don't understand what He's doing, when you're tired of waiting, if you struggle with your mental health, if you haven't spent time with Him today, if you struggle to love yourself even if you have nothing left to give. He still loves you.

Please pray for those who have been impacted by the suicide bombing at Saint Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Damascus. At least twenty have been killed, with a number of casualties.
Lord, have mercy.

Almond trees bloom at Saint Catherine's Monastery, a Greek Orthodox Church in South Sinai, Egypt. It was built between 548 and 565, and is the world's oldest continuously-inhabited Christian monastery.

About Me ✝️ 🏳️🌈
Hello everyone!
My name is Michela
She/Her
I am Italian (Sicilian) and Arbëreshë
I am a masc lesbian
And a devout Catholic! (Latin Rite)
I know most may not be familiar with the Arbëreshë, so here is some information:
Arbëreshë are descendants of Orthodox Christian Albanian refugees who fled from Albania and Greece to Italy during the Ottoman Empire's conquest of the Balkans. The Arbëreshë speak a medieval dialect of Albanian. The communities eventually had to become Catholic, but were allowed to maintain the Byzantine rite and formed the Italo-Albanian Catholic Church, one of 23 Eastern Catholic Churches!
Regarding a DNI list:
I’m open to speaking to anyone with an open heart to ask, listen, or learn. However, if you are coming to my blog to be homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, etc, you will be blocked. My purpose is to help my fellow queer Christians who struggle and/or feel rejected by providing them encouragement, support, and a safe space. Therefore, if you are coming to my blog or posts to condemn my followers and me with hatred and misrepresentations of the Bible, you will be blocked.

Just a message to my fellow queer Catholics/Christians on here:
God loves you. God supports you. Jesus would lovingly break bread with you. Jesus would defend you against those who persecute you.
Especially to my trans siblings, he loves you.
Happy Pride, God bless you all.
