Captain Marvel has this weird habit of saving people literally everywhere. Superman does the same, but it’s for bigger things like earthquakes in Japan and what not.

Marvel: *catches building before it falls on little girl* “Need help?”

Little Chinese Girl(LGC): “闪电先生!” (Mister Lighting!)

Marvel: “Eh… close enough I guess.” *puts the building down and helps her up*

LGC: *starts saying a bunch of stuff in Mandarin*

Marvel: *replying every now and then while looking for her parents*

Australian Hero(AH): “How the fuck did you get here so fast, mate? You aren’t even from the same continent as the rest of us.”

Marvel: “Oh, you know. I flew.”

AH: “Of course you did.”

Marvel: “Yeah, need help with any clean up?”

AH: “Yes actually. These spider corpses need moving before they stink up the whole place.”

Marvel: “I’ll grab these legs, you grab the others?” *grabs some legs*

AH: “Yeah.” *grabs the other legs*

Marvel and AH: *start dragging it away*

AH: “Christ, who knew leaving the already big spiders in Australia around radioactive material would’ve made them worse?”

He was eventually asked about how he knows where to go and who to save.

Reporter: “Captain Marvel, how exactly do you know to save and help people all around the world?”

Marvel: “Oh, uh… so the world has magical ley lines pretty much everywhere? I can sense when people walk on them because I’m the Champion of Magic. When people walk on them I can tell if they’re happy or sad or distressed. So I’ll pop over to see what’s going on every now and then, especially when a large group of people are distressed. Does that make sense?”

Reporter: “You… have a connection that deep with magic?”

Marvel: “Of course. I am its champion after all.”

You can tell I’ve fallen into bored insanity because I’ve started genuinely thinking about how I would rework all of the sims 4 packs

i think captain mactavish is secretly very sentimental about everything and just has no room to be. he keeps a journal, he cares about everything, he knows his men, he keeps price's gun for 5 years and takes it with him on missions, he keeps track of everything because he wants to keep it. he enlisted at 17, he's the youngest person in the SAS, he's everyone's junior and can't show weakness— but he does care, very much.

this next part goes more into the yours-to-keep-verse (lol) but that's why he always keeps favourites of things, always cares about everything enough to break himself to fix it, why he never really moved out of his childhood flat and told everyone it was just more convenient than looking for a new place. all the faces go in his journal because he can't bear to lose them or forget

(which might be why him and ghost implicitly match each other— ghost lives to be forgotten, and captain mactavish can’t bring himself to let go)

i’ve just realised i can post here about my 09 soapghost thoughts so

i think 09 ghost would be entirely unpredictable as a person. he’s strict about his schedule until he flips it on a whim, he’s defiant about everything until he’s as loyal a soldier as they come. he’s loud until he’s not, adrenaline seeking until he likes calm, and i think it earns him a reputation as a loose cannon, entirely impossible to follow.

and i think it’s because as a person he’s never actually had a stable environment to find any one image of himself. he’s constantly had every single part of his personality weaponised against him. he can’t be too weak, he can’t be too brave, he can’t be too stubborn, he can’t be too complacent so he oscillates around the extremes . that’s how i write him at least

My sonic oc was originally a crack character based on the idea of someone existing to balance out Rouge’s sexiness

Obviously it grew from there and now I have Eguor who is Rouge’s cousin and is secretly a super famous musician but no one suspects him cuz he’s a pathetic wet rat (bat)

Eguor (Rouge backwards) isn’t even his birth name it’s just a nickname that stuck so much no one remembers his real name

Wade cleaning Logan's claws

Wade was anal about his weapons being in perfect condition. This is something Logan learned quickly.

After every hit and job no matter if they were in some shitty motel or in the apartment. Wade was cleaning his weapons.

Disassembling each component, sharpening, oiling, and wiping down meticulously. They were as shiny, clean, and sharp as new an hour after they land wherever they end up.

Nothing will distract him from it this is the number one priority and Logan finds it so endearing. It's something he can always look forward to something concrete.

He's usually silent during this ritual so not to distract himself from his important task. Logan has been confused at first what with the incessant background noise gone. But he grew to enjoy the silence as well sitting near Wade and watching him work.

It was mesmerizing the mindless motions showing years of experience. Experience he sees every time they take a job. The easy twirling of katanas the fluid motions of his fatal swings. The perfect accuracy when he's not even looking, the knives that lodge into foreheads when someone goes running.

Wade is so effortlessly skilled and so effortlessly lethal that it feels intoxicating to watch.

Logan gets used to the routine will even clear room for him to lay all the weapons down if he has to. So when he was up messing with stuff in their kitchen and he popped his claws to open something before making his way back to Wade he hadn't expected Wade to lock onto his claws.

Wade was finished with his little ritual and Logan had expected him to start putting away the cleaning stuff but he just locked onto his claws. His claws which still looked slightly dirty from the job. Wade made grabby hands and Logan tentatively moved his hand towards the merc.

Quick as anything he took the hand and pulled it closer to himself causing Logan to stumble forward but he didn't complain. Wade pulled on on of the claws lightly in request and Logan slid them the rest of the way out.

Wade grabbed his cleaning rag and slowly started to clean the adamantium. Logan just watched on stunned. People rarely touched his claws they kept their distance and feared them for good reason. But Wade never so much as blinked when they are unshaved or anywhere near him.

And now he's cleaning them showing them care like all his other weapons and Logan wondered If there was some symbology there.

Each one was cleaned with the same focus and dedication that the rest of his stuff was clean with. Once he was pleased with them he got the oil and went over them again. Logan wondered why his eyes stung.

Once done he gestured for the other arm which Logan gave just as easily. He didn't shave the claws kept them out as he unshaved the other set. Wade went back to work as Logan inspected the clean pair.

It was the best they'd ever looked. Shiny and reflective not a smudge to be seen. As clean and cared for as the katanas Wade loved.

The other claws were treated with the same care and fuck Logan didn't know what to say what to do. He just lets Wade work and when he's done he smiles happily to himself. He looks over his work and all Logan can choke out is, "It looks great."

He definitely feels some kind of way about all the attention and focus being on him. That effortless skill being applied to him like he's worth something.

He doesn't what to retract the claws he doesn't want to take away the shine or hide the care that we're just given to them. Wade just humms happily and lays back on the couch.

And if Logan has his claws out the rest of the night well? What else was he supposed to do?
