Life's Still Beautiful Because...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
someone just fell in love for the first time today
someone just graduated after all these years filled with stress & uncertainty
a kid somewhere just learned how to ride a bike
someone who dreams of being the next big star just finished their first show
there's so much music out there that you have yet to listen to there's so many people you have yet to meet
there's so many recipes you have yet to try
there's someone out there praying they meet someone exactly like you & hopes the two of you cross paths
someone secretly thought you looked cool today
even in times like this, art is still being made and shared with the world
even in times like this, there are people who refuse to be anything but kindhearted and empathetic
you're here 🤍

things i stopped doing that made me prettier
Tumblr media
not gonna lie - most of my glow up came from what I stopped doing. sometimes subtracting is better than adding.
Tumblr media
over-exfoliating my skin i used to scrub my face like i was sanding wood. now? chemical exfoliants 2-3x a week MAX. my texture literally vanished.
touching my face constantly no picking. no popping. no leaning on my hand when i’m bored. my acne cleared up so much once i kept my hands off.
falling for every tiktok product not everything trending works for my skin. i stick to basics that are actually backed by science.
skipping water & sleep hydration and sleep are free glow-up tools. my skin looks bouncy when i give it what it needs.
neglecting my posture bad posture adds years. shoulders back, chin up, core engaged gives u so much more elegance.
comparing myself to every girl online comparison kills confidence. my glow-up started when I focused on being the best version of ME, not someone else.
overdoing heat on my hair less straightening. more protective styles. took care of all of my hair breakage.
using 1,000 harsh acne products at once i simplified my routine. less irritation = calmer, clearer skin
neglecting my scalp health healthy scalp = shiny hair. weekly scalp scrubs + oiling changed my hair game.
speaking negatively about myself the prettiest thing is confidence. don’t tear urself down out loud or in ur head.
Tumblr media
sometimes being "prettier" is just being kinder to yourself.

jokes to make after failure that aren’t self-deprecating:
I’m the best to ever do it
Nobody saw that (best if said loudly)
No one’s ever done it like me
I could be President/they should make me President
Behold, a mere fraction of my power!
The public wants to be me soooooo bad
I’m an expert in (thing you just failed at)
How could this have happened to god’s favorite princess?
Nothing ibuprofen and a glass of water cant fix
I’m being sabotaged

things that bring me comfort for when i am not feeling my best -✮⟡º❀⊹.
💌 i created this list a few years ago on my notes app and i keep reaching to it every once in a while so i thought i would share. hopefully it can help (?)
stopping everything i am doing and focusing on my breath
looking out of the window or going to the balcony
organizing my room (if i'm not doing great, chances are my room isn't either)
listening to the playlist i made for this exact purpose
reading a comfort book (careful: it can become a coping mechanism and we don't want that)
taking a shower (i tend to procrastinate it if i'm feeling down, and it always works!)
doing my skincare
having a quick nap (or going to sleep, depending on the time)
watching a gilmore girls episode (aka my comfort show)
making myself a cup of tea
-º⟡ the most life changing one has been for sure making a playlist with my comfort songs. if i'm out in public, i won't be able to watch gilmore girls or take a nap, but i can always rely on the playlist. such a game changer.
-º⟡ please add to this list with the things that bring you comfort when you are not feeling your best :))

✧ the prettiest form of revenge is becoming unbothered
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hey lovelies 🕊️ i was walking home today with my headphones in (listening to that one slow, sparkly lana song that makes everything feel a little cinematic) when this thought hit me like a soft little thunderstorm: not reacting is a reaction. not letting it touch your peace is the prettiest form of revenge.
like actually, how stunning is it to become so centered, so sure of yourself, that you no longer flinch when someone tries to rattle you?
i used to think healing meant explaining. fixing. over-explaining. closure. but lately, it’s been looking more like softly deleting the conversation. letting the last word echo into nothingness. wearing lip gloss and lighting a candle and journaling through it, not texting back. not proving anything. not proving you’re good. just being good.
emotional detachment isn’t cold. it’s clarity. it’s a sacred kind of self-trust that whispers: “you’re allowed to walk away without performing your pain.”
and no, it’s not always easy. especially if you're sensitive or intuitive or have that gentle little savior complex. but the more you stop making yourself available to chaos, the more your nervous system starts to breathe again. and that’s where the real glow-up begins.
because when you stop shrinking, when you stop begging to be seen in the right light, when you just decide to be light, suddenly, the power flips. and you’re not waiting to be chosen anymore. you’re busy choosing yourself.
this is your reminder that the softest girls can also be the strongest. we can cry in the bathtub and go no-contact. we can wear pink and have steel boundaries. we can wish them well and walk away in silence.
unbothered isn’t heartless. it’s healed.
xoxo, mindy 🤍

PROPAGANDA I’M FALLING FOR
★ your room reflects your mind. messy room = disorganized mind. clean room = clear mind
★ once you cut/dye your hair everything will change
★ being a little delulu is the first step to be who you want to be
★ you’re literally not too much. they’re just not enough
★ sleeping well is a form of rebellion
★ no one knows wtf they’re doing either
★ the timeline is shifting. stay weird and stay here

𝓱ow to be more eco-friendly
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
because caring is cool and we only have one planet!! and remember that even if you think that your small actions have no impact on the world, they DO and if everyone starts acknowledging that, then things will finally change. you matter, and so do your choices.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❥︎ mindful shopping. when it comes to buying something, think about what YOU like and need, and not about what everyone else has been influenced into buying lately. don't fall for all the latest trends on social media that change every week. a lot of people mindlessly follow trends, buying a lot of unnecessary things that they get tired of the moment they're not popular anymore, and then they proceed to move on to the next micro trend and throw away the other products that end up in landfills, contributing to pollution. find your own style, and shop accordingly, this way you will have things that you actually like and will keep for longer. also remember, you don't need thousands of the same thing. when you go grocery shopping, try to choose local products that haven't been imported from the other side of the world with transportation that causes pollution, and when buying animal products try to avoid the ones raised in intensive farming. in general you should also try to eat less meat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❥︎ avoid fast fashion as much as you can. when we go shopping nowadays, almost all the clothes are made with low quality materials and manufactured in ways that produce waste, pollution and gas emissions, not to mention the worker exploitation and child labour. and even if it is made with such low cost practices, the clothing you find in most fast-fashion stores isn't even that cheap or convenient at all. other brands such as shein or temu are definitely cheaper than most (for evident reasons such as underpaid workers and bad materials), but by shopping those brands the negative environmental impact increases because the package has to be shipped from china to whatever country you're in, requiring transportation that causes a lot of emissions. another downside of fast fashion is that the quality is so bad that after a couple of times wearing one piece of clothing you will probably have to throw it away and it will end up in landfills or the incinerator. i know that if you look for non fast fashion it can be more expensive, but that's because it is actually made with good and long lasting materials that you will be able to wear for years. buy if you can't afford that, what i recommend doing is thrifting. it's my favourite thing and i do it a lot expecially cause i like the style from the 90s-00s. you can go to any flea market or thrift store around you, you can find things for just a couple of euros. and if there isn't any of those things around you, there are apps like vinted where you can find literally anything. i love vinted so much i swear i always find some gold pieces on there, i know some people complain that it is hard to find clothing you like, but after you manage to manipulate the algorithm it will show you those things directly. even buying fast fashion from vinted is better. and anyway, it's better to spend some more time looking for things on vinted or the thrift store than buying the first things you see on shein (that also steals from small businesses and other brands, fyi) knowing that it is unethical. you don't always have to choose the easy way out if you care about things.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❥︎ don't use ai. in case you didn't know, ai is very bad for the environment due to the amount of energy and electricity that is used to train it, causing an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. what could have possibly been a good thing for research, medicine ecc. has been turned into a weapon not only against the planet, but our own brains and society. almost everyone uses chat gpt or similar things, whether it's for fun, advice, school or tips. ai is slowly overtaking humans, doing everything faster and better than them, but without any emotion. people would rather ask ai for advice rather than a human, students let chat gpt do all their homework, writers let chat gpt write for them, art has been replaced by ai images, and people talk to ai bots. by asking chat gpt to solve every little problem in our lives, we are also reducing our critical thinking abilities and letting ai take over our personalities. i mean i hate ai in general if it wasn't clear enough, i think it's just taking away the beauty of human art and creativity by replacing it with soulless things, but that isn't really what the post is about. i know that ai can be used as a tool, but please please please don't use it unless it's really necessary because its impact on the environment is really significant, and everyone is already using it so much that we really don't need someone else to use 20 chat gpt prompts a day for things they can easily do in many other ways.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❥︎ reduce, reuse and recycle. the three big r's. reduce waste as much as you can: don't waste food, only buy what you know you will eat, turn off the lights when you're not in a room, reduce your use of water, ecc. simple things, just don't use things when you don't need them. reuse items as much as you can before throwing them away, don't buy new things when the ones you already have are still perfectly functioning. and if you don't need something anymore, give it to your friends/family members or donate it to people in need, instead of throwing it away. try to minimize the use of disposable things, and instead get ones that last longer. avoid things that aren't recyclable, keep separate bins so that materials like paper and cardboard can be recycled, try to avoid plastic as much as you can and use biodegradable products.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❥︎ volunteer. if there are any projects in your area, like cleaning up parks or beaches, or planting trees, or whatever, you can always try to join. not only are you helping, but it's also a great experience where you can meet other people.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❥︎ use public transport. don't take the car every time you have to move, if it's somewhere near, you can always go by foot (which is also good for your health), and if it is longer distances, try to use public transport rather than a car. i'm not saying you should never use your car, of course, but when it isn't really necessary you can try to avoid it, though i know that public transport can be a challenge sometimes, since it's often late or too crowded.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(by the way guys i apologize for any possible grammar mistakes, but english isn't my first language!!)

✧ how i stay productive during summer break (while still having fun!) ✧
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hey lovelies! ✨
summer break is finally here and honestly? it's my favorite time to both relax and get things done. i know that sounds contradictory but trust me, finding that sweet balance between productivity and fun is totally possible! after years of either doing absolutely nothing or burning myself out, i've finally found my perfect summer rhythm.
first things first: the morning routine ✨
i've learned that my day flows so much better when i start it intentionally. i wake up around 8 or 9 (not too early because we deserve some extra sleep!), make my bed immediately (small win!), and spend 15 minutes journaling before checking my phone. this tiny habit has literally changed everything for me.
my summer morning essentials:
iced coffee with oat milk and a tiny bit of vanilla
a cute journal that makes me excited to write in it
10 minutes of stretching by my window
a super quick skincare routine (sunscreen is non-negotiable!)
creating a flexible structure 🤍
the secret to summer productivity is having just enough structure without feeling trapped. i divide my days into three parts:
morning: productive focus time (2-3 hours max) afternoon: flexible time for errands, friends, or projects evening: pure relaxation and fun
this way, i never feel like i'm missing out or falling behind. the key is being realistic about what you can actually accomplish in a day. i used to make these impossible to-do lists and then feel awful when i couldn't finish them.
my productivity non-negotiables:
i always make sure to do at least one productive thing each day, even if it's small. some of my favorites:
reading 20 pages of a book
organizing one small area of my room
working on a creative project for 30 minutes
learning something new for my blog
planning content or taking photos
balancing productivity with summer fun ✨
here's my little secret: schedule your fun just like you schedule your work! this sounds silly but it actually helps me look forward to both. some of my favorite summer activities that feel refreshing but don't derail my productivity:
morning walks with an audiobook
afternoon picnics where i can also read or brainstorm
coffee shop work dates with friends
sunset swims after a productive day
weekend day trips that recharge my creativity
my favorite productivity tools:
a paper planner (something about writing things down just works better for me)
the forest app to stay off my phone when focusing
aesthetic notion templates for organizing my projects
time blocking in my calendar with cute colors
lo-fi summer playlists that help me concentrate
remembering the why 🤍
summer isn't just about getting things done or having the perfect instagram moments. it's about growing, reflecting, and creating memories that will make you smile in december when it's freezing outside. productivity should support your joy, not replace it!
i've found that my happiest summer days are when i accomplish something meaningful in the morning and then have the freedom to be spontaneous in the afternoon and evening. balance isn't perfect every day, and that's okay too.
what are your favorite ways to stay productive during summer break? i'd love to hear your tips too!
xoxo, mindy 🤍

how to rebuild yourself after falling off⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ 🕯️
you fell off. ok. it happens. no need to pretend it didn’t.
but what you do after you fall? that’s the real story. 🌷
falling off doesn’t make you a failure — staying there does. so this is your guide to standing back up, even if you’re crawling at first.
Tumblr media
step one: stop lying about where you’re at.
you can’t rebuild anything if you’re busy pretending everything’s fine. • sit with the mess. admit it’s messy. admit you let yourself down. • but don’t live there. own it, but don’t become it.
self-awareness hurts. but it’s also the first step out.
step two: make your next move tiny.
your comeback isn’t gonna be some huge, aesthetic morning routine you saw on TikTok. it’s gonna look like: • drinking a glass of water even if you still feel dead inside • taking a 5-minute walk even if your brain is screaming no • journaling one sentence even if you don’t know what to say
the comeback is boring at first. that’s why most people stay stuck.
step three: forgive yourself faster.
you can’t rebuild while you’re busy hating yourself for falling. forgive yourself — even if you don’t think you deserve it yet. forgive yourself for giving up, for ghosting your goals, for being messy. you’re human. it was never supposed to be perfect.
step four: romanticize the rebuild.
everyone loves the glow-up, but no one talks about the rebuild era. this is where the real flex is: • getting dressed even if you’re not going anywhere • making playlists for the new you you’re building • lighting a candle just to write your to-do list
you’re not rebuilding because you hate yourself. you’re rebuilding because you believe there’s a better version of you on the other side. 🕯️
step five: move like it’s already yours.
stop begging. stop hoping. start moving like it’s already yours. • show up for yourself before you feel like it • act like you already respect yourself • move like the door is already open — not like you’re waiting for permission to knock
the version of you that you’re chasing? she’s already waiting. but you can’t meet her sitting in the ruins.
Tumblr media
you fell. so what? get up. build again. quietly, daily, stubbornly. the best glow-ups are built in silence — and nobody claps until the transformation is too loud to ignore. 🕊️
