Hands Free - Toilet Clean!!

I tested Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel on a Saturday right before my son's birthday party.  It consists of a plastic tube applicator containing gel that you apply under the rim of the toilet bowl.  Start with a clean toilet. Each time you flush, the water washes over the little disc of gel and keeps your toilet looking fresh.  It was fairly simple to use after reading the instructions on the box.

I am very sensitive to odors, so at first I did not care for the smell.  I do not normally use a lot of different cleaning products that have a chemical smell.  This one smelled like a strong cleaning product.  Most people will not be bothered by this, I think.

The only problem I ran into was that it caught the attention of my 4 year old and he actually stuck his finger in the toilet gel once or twice!  I was lucky he showed me what he did and didn't try to it!  I think this problem can be solved by putting the gel on the opposite side of the bowl that he can't see when goes in to use the toilet.

This little gel disc lasted a full week, as stated on the box.  It kept the bowl very clean, no complaints on that!  I think this was quite impressive since this is our main bathroom and it lasted through the birthday party on Saturday and the rest of the week with heavy flushing.  I do not work so I am home with my 4 yr old and 2 yr old.  The strong smell went away after about the 3rd day, I believe.  There are still 5 more gel discs left in this package for 5 more weeks of clean!  I really can'lt wait to keep trying this product to see how long the bowl will stay clean.

Spring Cleaning!

I put the Toilet Cleaning Gel to use right away so it would be in place and I could do a review on it after about a week.  I will post a review here in a few days!  As of now, just happy and thankful to be involved with BzzAgent and SC Johnson on this campaign!

Review of Zatarain's Frozen Entrees

I was chosen to do a Zatarain's Mardi Gras House Party where I was provided with free samples and coupons through www.houseparty.com. 

Zatarain's has new single serve microwaveable frozen entrees on the market!  They are great for lunches at home, work, or school.  I tried the Blackened Chicken with Yellow Rice and the Shrimp Scampi with Pasta.  The Blackened Chicken was fantastic, very flavorful, cooked well and good-sized pieces of chicken.  The Shrimp Scampi was also great with good-sized shrimp (not those itty bitty ones that you usually see in frozen lunch-type meals).  Oh, and it only takes 3 minutes. I know some of the microwaveable meals can take 7 or more minutes!

Zatarain's is famous for New Orleans Style foods that you can make at home.  These frozen meals do not dissapoint in that respect either! The New Orleans flavors come through and I do love the type of rice used in these foods, not your typical rice.

I purchased these at Wal-Mart and they were priced at $2.50 I believe, price may vary in your area.  Not too pricey.  There are several varieties of these microwaveable meals and I will definitely be trying some more of these in the future!  Check out www.zatarains.com for more info.

I would love to pass on some information on a great company I have been working with for a couple of years now.  I am a member of Bzzagent.com, a word of mouth marketing company that allows you to try out products for free and share your opinions of them.
