It’s so hard being an adult.
#just need things to fall into place now#Alhamdulillah I’m in a way better position than I was previously#and I thank Allah for that abundantly#I’m happy#and ther is no darkness#or as much doubt#but the struggles of being an adult#and the son#and only brother#and the fact that I want to be able to do x y z for my family#but at this stage I just can’t#and I want to do x y z for myself#and for Us#but at this stage#it’s just too difficult#learning a trade as an adult was the best thing for me#however#they never do make it easy#I feel like I’m almost at the home run#but getting ther is a struggle#but Alhamdulillah#I have trust in the best of planners

2 & 20 :)
2: Top 5 all time books
Ok. I'm gonna change this to top 5 all time series because I mainly read fantasy and they are hardly ever stand alone books. And it's easier to rate a complete story than a single book.
1. Kingkiller Chronicles - Patrick Rothfuss
2. Mistborn (era 1) - Brandon Sanderson
3. Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paolini
4. Harry potter - J.K Rowling
5. Lorien Legacies - Pittacus Lore
20: what do I look for in a book
Umm. I love a book that offers an escape (as cheesy as that sounds).. when I first got into reading I hated life and picking up a book and imagining I was ther living that life instead would be my little escape. So any book that gives me that is a plus.
So a book with awesome world building, good character depth, (magic 🥺), (proper fantasy with elves and wizards and shi 🥲)
#currently re-reading kingkiller!#reblogging cos I forgot about this and it made me happy reading it again

“I couldn’t tell you what it was that inevitably made her so special to me, but I do know that there has never been another person that has made me feel as at home within my own skin as she has, and even in her silence, I can feel her loving me from wherever she may be.”

Allāhumma’hdinī fī man hadayt, wa `āfinī fī man `āfayt, wa tawallanī fī man tawallayt, wa bārik lī fī mā a`atayt, wa qinī sharra mā qaḍayt, fa innaka taqḍī wa lā yuqḍā `alayk, innahu lā yadhillu man wālayt, [wa lā ya`izzu man `ādayt] , tabārakta Rabbanā wa ta`ālayt.
O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided, and strengthen me with those whom You have given strength. Take me to Your care with those whom You have taken to Your care. Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil You have ordained. Surely, You command and are not commanded, and none whom You have committed to Your care shall be humiliated [and none whom You have taken as an enemy shall taste glory]. You are Blessed, Our Lord, and Exalted.
