Hell, Ava had gone off on several tangents throughout the course of it, simply because whatever came to mind was just let out. In some ways, it was easier to do that, there was so much that went on that needed explanation. “’S fine, I know ‘s a lot. Actually kinda surprised you’re even still talkin’ to me right now.” Ava leans back, a small wry smile on her features. “Thought I might horrify you or put you to sleep completely.” 

                ❛  i’m surprised i’m still here too  ❜   brain is still trying to find note worthy responses , maxine is no stranger to zoning out , but there is still some part of her subconscious that takes at least half of the information in -  it’s usually how she gets through classes every week . but this was different , there really is such thing as too much information at once in one sitting . though there is a smile that slowly forms on lips ,  at least ava wasn’t offended  ( not that she’d care all that much anyway , but it was easier that she didn’t )  ❛  oh you basically did , i have a talent for sleeping with my eyes open .  but i’m sure your story was uh ... lovely ?  tedtalk potential .  ❜  she doesn’t listen to them, either .

                ❛  cool ... well , i don’t wanna be rude , but that story was very long and much more involved than i originally thought it would be  ❜ �� posture slumps back , leg hitching up to be tucked under the other as body slides off to the side to stare up at the other .  blinking a few times , as if just violently woken from a deep sleep   ❛  because that just ...  ❜   cue a low  whistle being made , one hand motioning above head and swooping above it to indicate nothing had really went in .  did she catch bits and pieces ?  sure ,  but not enough to hide the fact she had zoned out pretty badly half way through .
