                a disgusted noise is made in the back of throat ;  fingers that were once typing away comes to a screeching halt as the obnoxious sound blares from the small speaker ,  holding the corner of the phone between fore finger and thumb ;  hanging loosely in grip as max  turns the screen towards the other   ❛   what is this -  what is it  ?  ❜   holding it further away from self as the ringing continues , the unknown number bright on screen    ❛  is it an amber alert ?  ❜
