Hi! I'm Airen! I'm everywhere. I ran @battampria, but until recently, I decided to moved accounts because I want a fresh, new start and I'm not happy with that account anymore due to it being so unorganized.. ^_^'

oh yeah abt the colors i checked again and yeah most are with 2ish colors srry srry (never trusting in my memory again) .... but abt the color theory, i made two example imgs:

as u can see i put the wind archer banner & the tercula (idk if thats her name) in grayscale and i picked the most lighter color, the "base" one and the most darker color (which is mostly the threshold) , then i put these colors in this gradient, this gradient is called "luminosity", is used to see how bright and how dark a color is, and the red space i put between the colors is called "contrast", so as u can see from both of the imgs, the contrast between the lighter color and the base color is kinda low, but the contrast between the base color (or other dark color) and the threshold is kinda big (reminder: the red percentage is not fully correct, thats just a spiculation), with these in mind, just like how me and u said before, the threshold makes a HUGE influence in the colors of the graphics, making them look more darker, dark enough to have barely any space for the lighter color.

ofc, thats depends a lot on the psd ur using + the adjustments + ur preference + the edit (since u have made edits that are really bright, ex: the yumemizuki graphics), however i think is important to have this in mind 'cus sometimes u want a edit to have a specific vibe but then it got totally opposite bc of the threshold + a bit influence of the overlay too, and also is kinda good to when make a edit with 2ish colors u make like one is lighter and the other is more darker, so then the contrast can have a variety + will be more of a good look and helps get the vibe from the edit /nf

and ummm thats all ig !! pls note that nothing that im saying here is a rule or something u MUST follow ok im just trying to explain my point here (and also bc i love yap abt colors & anything related to art ^^) /gen

ok so umm i think ur editing style ir really cool /gen but there is 2 things that i noticed:

1: most of ur edits are only one color, like is kinda rare to see other colors in ur edits (specially those with overlays) and it turns to be one color + the basic valium's (lights and shadows)

2: talking abt shadows, every shadow or darker part in ur edit is filled with threshold, as since ur edits are kinda dark/pale the threshold stands out WAY to much wich makes 40% of the edit with threshold only

now, my suggestion for these 2 points is to either add a second color to the edit more often (bc i remember that some of ur "old" edits have an extra color) & make the threshold take less place in the edit, bc i believe that with these 2 combined ur edits can have a clearer vision to ur fans !! /gen /nm

anyways um overall i think ur edits are good is just a biiiittt hard to see bc of these 2 points i mentioned, but the rest is pretty cool !! (specially the composition i just love the way u put the elements/pngs)

Yeah I'm not gonna lie I abuse threshold WAYyyy too much,, I'll try to tone it down a little going forward,, the colors I kinda get hell the two lyts I like posted today only have like one ish color and most of my edits only have like 2ish colors thing is at the same time I also have like no clue what you mean cuz idk shit about like color theory SO IF YOU COULD LIKE TRY TO EXPLAIN MORE THEN ID APPRECIATE IT,, I was indeed thinking of like stopping doing too many overlays I'll probably use the one I use most again ty for the advice :3
