50 YEARS IN THE FUTURE

Can you imagine how the world will be 50 years from now if we do nothing against the effects of climate change? For more than 30 years, governments of different countries, whether advanced or developing, have questioned concerns about the environment and the changes that the earth experiences due to climate change. However, there are different complex reasons for the appearance of the impacts that our planet suffers, and they are linked to the way of life that we lead as a society to date.

The consequences of climate change are shocking for the planet. The industrial revolution is considered a fact of great importance in terms of the increase in activities that affect the environment, since years after this event large layers of polluted air were noticed in England that surrounded the cities with the largest number of industries to At the time, it was this fact among others that prompted the study of these climatological abnormalities, it is known that between the end of the 70s until the beginning of the 90s was the period where, through the contribution of various scientists, the concept of climate change, CO2 measurements were made and its consequences analyzed in addition to the creation of the IPCC, this being the first scientific body worldwide supported by several nations, for the study and detailed report of the consequences of human activity and its effect on climate change. For years these studies are carried out and presented to the global population through reports and it is considered that the current results are not encouraging for the future.

The world towards 50 years in the future without doing anything, this is one of the questions that the IPCC has raised, during the analysis of the data on polluting emissions that are obtained from most countries, and that are causing the increase in the effects that climate change causes to our planet. Although the mathematical projections are not always fulfilled due to various factors and variables, there are currently 4 alternatives for the future in terms of CO2 emissions and each of them with different levels, whether they are to reduce CO2 emissions. through better alternatives taken by countries in their industrial, social and political activity in favor of caring for the environment, which represents something encouraging in the face of the effects of climate change. But in the same way there is another projection in which no measure is taken and we maintain the lifestyle that we lead today, by countries around the world, and the results are not at all encouraging, because it shows a drastic increase in CO2 emissions, which in turn increases the effects of climate change such as high temperatures, droughts, floods, rise in sea level, among others, all of a negative nature for our society. Against this background the future more than ever is under our decisions.

 The history of these last 30 years has contracted a new factor not seen until before, which is climate change, the consequences of human activities for the present and the future of our planet. There is scientific evidence through reports that indicate that the anthropogenic incidence during previous years has acted as catalysts for the present and the future, in terms of the level of increase in CO2 emissions that is directly proportional to the increase in negative effects caused by the change. climate. It is very important that, if we have not yet changed the mentality that we have towards our lifestyle and we have not included environmental awareness in it, it is from today something to improve, not as something altruistic, but as something necessary to a hopeful future for our lives and the lives of future generations. So, if in 50 years we do not do things in a more environmentally friendly way, the outlook will be devastating and irremediable, but the decision is still in our wills.

50 AÑOS EN EL FUTURO

¿Te imaginas como estará el mundo de aquí a 50 años si no hacemos nada en contra de los efectos del cambio climático? Desde hace más de 30 años atrás, gobiernos de distintos países, ya sean avanzados o en vías de desarrollo han puesto en tela de juicio las preocupaciones por el medio ambiente y los cambios que la tierra experimenta a causa del cambio climático. Sin embargo, existen distintas razones complejas para la aparición de los impactos que sufre nuestro planeta, y están vinculados con la forma de vida que llevamos como sociedad hasta la actualidad.

Las consecuencias del cambio climático son impactantes para el planeta. Se considera un hecho de gran trascendencia la revolución industrial en cuanto al incremento en las actividades que repercuten sobre el medio ambiente, ya que años posteriores a este evento se notaron en Inglaterra grandes capas de aire contaminado que circundaban las ciudades con mayor cantidad de industrias a la época, fue este hecho entre otros los cuales impulsaron al estudio de estas anormalidades climatológicas, se sabe que entre finales de los años 70 hasta inicios de los años 90 fue el periodo donde mediante el aporte de diversos científicos, se introdujo por primera vez el concepto de cambio climático, se realizaron mediciones de CO2 y analizaron sus consecuencias además de la creación del IPCC, siendo este el primer organismo científico a nivel mundial respaldado por varias naciones, para el estudio e informe detallado de las consecuencias de la actividad humana y su afección al cambio climático. Durante años estos estudios son realizados y presentados a la población global mediante informes y se considera que los resultados actuales no son nada alentadores para el futuro.

El mundo hacia 50 años en el futuro sin hacer nada, esta es una de las interrogantes que el IPCC se ha planteado, durante el análisis de los datos en emisiones contaminantes que se obtienen de la mayoría de países, y que son causantes del incremento en los efectos que el cambio climático provoca a nuestro planeta. Si bien las proyecciones matemáticas no siempre se cumplen por diversos factores y variables, en la actualidad se cuentan con 4 alternativas para el futuro en cuanto a las emisiones de CO2 y cada una de ellas con diferentes niveles, ya sean de reducción de emisiones de CO2 mediante mejores alternativas tomadas por países en su actividad industrial, social y política en pro del cuidado del medio ambiente, lo cual representa algo alentador en ante los efectos del cambio climático. Pero de igual manera se tiene otra proyección en la cual ninguna medida es tomada y mantenemos el estilo de vida que llevamos a la actualidad, por los países de todo el mundo, y los resultados no son para nada alentadores, debido a que se muestra un incremento drástico en las emisiones de CO2 , lo que a su vez incrementa los efectos del cambio climático como ser elevadas temperaturas, sequias, inundaciones, incremento del nivel del mar, entre otros, todos de índole negativo para nuestra sociedad. Ante este panorama el futuro más que nunca se encuentra bajo nuestras decisiones.

La historia de estos últimos 30 años ha contraído un nuevo factor no visto hasta antes, que es el cambio climático, las consecuencias que conlleva las actividades humanas para el presente y el futuro de nuestro planeta. Existe evidencia científica mediante informes, que indican que la incidencia antropogénica durante los años anteriores ha actuado como catalizadores para el presente y el futuro, en cuanto al nivel de aumento de emisiones de CO2 que es directamente proporcional al aumento en efectos negativos que ocasiona el cambio climático. Es muy importante que, si aún no hemos cambiado la mentalidad que tenemos hacia con nuestro estilo de vida y no hemos incluido la conciencia ambiental en esta, sea desde el día de hoy algo a mejorar, no como algo altruista, sino como algo necesario para un futuro con esperanza para nuestra vida y la vida de las siguientes generaciones. Así que, si en 50 años no hacemos las cosas de una manera más amigable con el medio ambiente, el panorama será devastador e irremediable, pero la decisión aún está en nuestras voluntades.
