i’m.. in love with how you draw hands <3 do you have any tips??

ahhhh thank you so much!!💓

honestly i barely even know what im doing myself half of the time, but generally for me it's the same old tale of making a little box for the palm and stick some sticks for fingers on it and make sure to give special attention to the thumb cause it's the most pose-able and it makes the hand for me (if that makes sense 😭) also i think sometimes it's useful to just debone the hand and experiment with the flowy-ness of the gestures, like have fun with it and don't get too caught up with the anatomy if you want something more dynamic!

but most of the time i just spend an unhealthy amount of time searching for that exact hand pose reference...and as always the more practice (with reference be it photos or other peoples art) the better it gets!!
