Naruto: the last movie and the weird contradictions/plot holes

Strange movie..

1- kage bunshin no jutsu?

Rewriting their meeting scene to add in the scarf plot and a little cute moment with chibi Naruto Implies that the academy teaches forbidden jutsu

or that Naruto stole the scroll earlier and learned the hand signals before the age of 12?

Rewriting their meeting is cheap altogether. Hinata wasn't bullied for having the byakugan, she only got picked on for a mistake, so why not make the backstory about the Hyuuga clan? Since the movie is about em and the byakugan?

Sticking more scenes with training isn't difficult, they could've had the scarf bs in other ways

2- genjutsu?

Naruto isn't immune to genjutsu, but Kurama is there to wake him up. In the movie he has to be woken up

3- Naruto being dumb?

Not understanding the difference between loving food and affection towards someone is extremely strange

This is the same dude who touched Zabuza with a speech on Haku, who knew that Sakura's love confession wasn't true, that understood how Sakura loved Sasuke from the start, who asked how their parents got together after knowing the mess of his birth and etc etc

Hes the last person to not know what love is or how it works

Biggest plot hole imo, he knows what the hell hes doing

4- deactivated Rinnegan?

I'd like to know in what world that happened before, and how it even works

5- the continuation of helpless Hinata

Which is not a plot hole but annoying. Shikamaru tells Naruto to take care of Hinata right at the start, which feels out of character even for him. I mean Hinata Is a whole ninja and she's 19 too? She has enough training and experience to know what the hell she's doing

Sakura threatening him if she leaves her in danger is also annoying, because she can take care of herself? She's not the strongest person in the leaf village but she's completely fine to do her ninja shit

She's only there to look cute┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌

Runs in a spiderweb so he can help her, let's Naruto handle the rest, goes with the villain to rescue her sister and try to convince Toneri to stop destroying the earth but doesn't really put up a fight, knits this scarf over and over again in that outfit that just looks out of place

What is she doing like that ಥ⁠ ⁠‿⁠ ⁠ಥ girl it's cold, naruto is thicker pants and hoodie? He even tells her it's inappropriate wear at some point

The only time when she does put up a fight is to get away from the puppets that were just restraining her in place. Hinata could've done much more, especially with family on the line

The chakra flare still baffles me, haven't seen her do that before? Naruto seemed the only one able to share his chakra..?

6- the kages

Especially Gaara. Having such a mild reaction to blowing up the moon with Naruto and his team up there is just comedic

Gaara feels so much for Naruto, he's always ready to put a good word for him and he cares deeply for his wellbeing. He tries to shake Sasuke out of his mind, he has a speech before the war, his dream under the tsukoyomi was to be friends with him in childhood

And "Can you postpone for one hour?" In what world would he do that

the kages being all cool with sacrificing Naruto for the earth looks odd

Trying to blow up the moon is funny

7- earth moon entrance? Hidden entrance to the moon? Gravity is touched on in the war against Kaguya, what about that? No real explanation how everyone is suddenly cool doing everything. especially Hinata Who was up there the most

8- CHEESY, corny. Badly made

Listen I love a good romance more than the next person, but the ending just made me sigh

Is it meant to parallel Kushina and Minato's Moon scene? If yes, if failed miserably

It worked with them because it wasn't over the top, it worked because Kushina tried her best, it worked because Minato isn't an idiot about love and doesn't suddenly switch up to loving her

Idk man the whole of the bubble scene with their interactions is funny. There's some scenes from classic and shippuden, some from the movie itself and the rest is just their faces. You don't need allat I promise

Naruto being goofy cute whatever picking her up isn't awful actually. It was cute

Idek how to describe it but I wasn't impressed with this whole ass moon and the glitter(?) snow(?) whatever falling down

A little over the top, a little much

Wasn't expecting the best romance despite Kushina and Minato having a fine dynamic that isn't bland
