Pride month is here and so are the applications for the queer OC zine!

The zine is a project that tries to bring creators of all kinds and identities together, celebrating queer fiction and the love that goes into creating it! No matter if you’ve got some wrestling orc lesbian kids, poly knights or the ace president of the moon, all LGBT+ creations, no matter what gender or sexuality, are welcome here.

This is a project that is very dear to my heart and my own passion for creating stories and the joy I want to pass onto others with it. I am currently making preparations for a webcomic which I’ve been thinking about and putting my heart into for years and am surrounded by wonderful, and inspiring queer kids, just as joyful about creating their own fictional works and I just wanted to create something where we can all share that passion!

The zine will be up for pre-order once the applications are closed and the drawing phase has started! There will also be a fair amount of copies sold at local (austrian/german) cons. All of the remaining earnings will be donated to a local LGBT+ charity.

________________________ “But how do i become part of this?” There’s an ‘Application’ section on our side “Can I also participate with something written?” There is also a limited amount of authors that can participate so hmu! “Can i draw a straight character?” As long as your OC is in some way part of the LGBT+ Community, you’re good to go! A straight Transgirl is just as valid as a bisexual non-binary Vampire-dude, etc.! Don’t forget, this is a project dedicated to queer OCs and queer fiction, we’d like to give LGBT+ characters the spotlight they deserve! “But i’ve got so many OCs…” Draw from 1 to 700 ocs really, as long as it fits on a page, you’re good to go. There is also no need to depict characters that are in a sexual/romantic relationship with each other, if you wanna draw your queer lawyer doing paperwork.
