not to sound like a weak, morally impure centrist over here, but i think online leftist communities need to be a little more accepting of the concept that most people are just. not that well informed. we live in a society that provides access to an overwhelming amount of information and yet which discourages actually diving into much beyond the surface level. Most of the people you meet out in the world are just not gonna know much about a lot of what you care about, but that's not the same as being against those things, or being unwilling to learn, or being unnamenable to those ideas. Our modern society is an unending cascade of information and misinformation and disinformation and filtering through that shit enough to actually have a solid grasp of a subject, let alone a nuanced antiestablishment political take, is a skill that takes time and effort to develop, time and effort that is in very short supply. It really bothers me when I see leftists talk about how capitalism keeps us down by taking up all our time and energy and making recovery, both physical and emotional, cost what little we can afford, and then turn around and get upset that people are politically uninformed. On some level, you gotta meet some people where they are, and have a little faith in them to be open to new ideas and information. Ignorance is not inherently intentional, and it's not the same as antipathy.

click on the link and then on the big "click to help" red button. wait for the page to reload, it should read "your click has been counted" and you should see confetti
if you have time, click on the buttons for the website's other causes as well ("click to help" on the navbar)
if you want to click more than once, you can use different browsers or devices, or open incognito mode, it seems to work (at least on the client side of the website)

More about the white roses because they keep popping up...
We first see them in "The Two Live Crew Job" when Sophie brings a vase of flowers that's been left outside her apartment in, not realizing there's a bomb inside the vase. She wasn't suspicious of them, so she probably thought they were from someone who wasn't trying to kill her, like Nate.

The next time we see white roses is when Eliot gives them to her, pretending they're from Nate. While Sophie is definitely smart enough to know that that's not Nate's style, I think she's enough of a romantic that she wants to believe that Nate would buy her flowers.

"The Too Many Rembrandts Job"
The really sad thing though, is that she keeps thinking that they were from Nate after his death because she puts a white rose on his grave.

Dude the Jedi are literally one of THE most fascinating and inspiring good guys / heroes / protagonists I’ve seen in a story and so is their whole philosophy and their teachings. There’s so much depth and sense to them and what they do and why. You can literally learn such useful lessons through them, adult or child.
So I really don’t understand all this anti Jedi nonsense and this idea that we need to be super critical about them and blame them, because apparently the villains / antagonists deserve to be put on a pedestal and excused for everything they do (*cough* murder, genocide, slavery, etc.) because they sad at times with a at times sad backstory.
And the fact that even writers within Star Wars feel like that, instead of taking the Jedi as they are and have always been meant to be perceived as, is so saddening.
It doesn’t take long to take the time, especially as a writer, and look into the Jedi's origins and what GL wanted to tell with his story, especially in terms of evil and good and the concept of balance and being in control of yourself specifically your darkest and most negative characteristics and emotions.
And this whole idea of Jedi being arrogant just because they strive the be the best version of themselves is getting so annoying. Like come on, that’s just your envy and insecurities shining through.

Fights in every period, even on power plays? How would you even know what-? I thought this guy was like a minor-league hammer. You know, like Dave "The Hammer" Schultz? Who is she?
