The IP address on Netgear AD7200 Wi-Fi router can easily be reserved through the web interface of the routerlogin.net. 

Steps to reserve an IP address on Netgear AD7200 Wi-Fi router

 Open up a browser in your Wi-Fi connected computer to the network.

Now, navigate www.routerlogin.net or the LAN IP address as the web address to get to the default gateway of the routerlogin.net.

Netgear Router login window appears on the screen.

Mention “admin” on the username field as the default username field and if you haven’t assigned any password to your login window then mention “password” on the password field. Both the credentials are case-sensitive.

Click on the login button and you will be redirected to the home screen of the routerlogin.net

Select the Advanced tab, and then go to the Setup tab and at last click on the LAN setup tab.

LAN setup tab will get displayed on your screen.

Now, locate the Address reservation section click on the add button.

Type the local IP address assigned to your computer on the IP address field. The user can also choose the IP address of the router from the LAN’s subnet such as 192.168.1.1. Type the MAC address of the server. The user can also copy the MAC address from the page of Attached device and past it on the respective field.

Click on the apply tab and all the settings get eventually saved.

 Steps to use the Internet Setup wizard of the Netgear AD7200 Wi-Fi router

Open up a browser in your Wi-Fi enabled device connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

Type www.routerlogin.net or the LAN IP address of the device into the address bar of the browser. The IP address of the router is 192.168.1.1 as the URL of the browser.

The default gateway of the login window of your routerlogin.net appears on the screen.

Mention the credentials within their respective fields. Click on the login button and you will be redirected to the home screen of routerlogin.net

Go to the Advanced tab, click on the Setup Wizard tab.

Setup Wizard page will get displayed on the screen.

Select the Yes option to use the Internet setup wizard. If in any case, you selected the No radio button, you will be redirected to the Internet setup page where you have to manually set up the internet connection.

Click on the Next button and the setup will automatically search for the type of Internet connection.
