It just gets better if you try and write the underlying computer architecture. It's nothing but a bunch of funky lil dudes that all do exactly one thing and you gotta make sure that when you tell them the exact thing that they're all in the right configuration or else it won't be the "correct" exact thing even if you didn't forget any details.

Just a bunch of these guys miniaturized into microscopic size but all they do is give yes no answers.

Seems simple enough right? Until you realize it takes an unspeakable amount of these funky lil shits to get anything done. To store just one input it's gonna take like six of em.

So even if there're no "issues" exactly with your code, but the person that wrote the language compiler didn't account for certain resource limitations on certain architectures. Then you'll compile just fine and run fine on someone else's system but fail every time on your own system and if that ain't the most maddening thing ever idk what is.

i think everyone should program at least once just so you realise just how fucking stupid computers are. because theyre so fucking stupid. a computer wants to be told what to do and exactly that and if you make one typo or forget one detail it starts crying uncontrollably
