Nodding she climbed into the carriage, patting down her outfit after sitting down, and waited for Jake to climb in next to her. “This is basically the only plus side of New York - well, this and the pizza. At least whenever you do end up ditching me for the eastern side of America, you can think of me whenever a horse rides past your dorm in Julliard.” Her lips stayed curled into a smile, as she tilted her head slightly. “Oh, and I promise that I will always send you photos of me in my bikini whilst you’re bundled up in a winter coat because of the blizzard that hit New York City, okay? It’s the least I can do.”

Jake Puckerman 

"I don't know about that, there's some pretty cool things about the city," he countered, moving to snuggle next to Kitty and wrapped his arm around her shoulders to hold her close. "If I end up in New York, I look forward to those pictures already. I don't think these go down by Juilliard, but if they do, I'll definitely think of you every time." He promised, turning his to look down at her with a small smile.

I loved it. It was really cool. I'll have to talk to her about it then. I haven't decided anything though. 

Did you like it? Brittany would probably be a better expert on that school, but it seems like the kind of place that you’d fit in.

General Notes: After Jake visits Julliard, Jake and Kitty go off to cross off something from Kitty’s NYC to do list. 

Kitty Wilde

Sliding out of the taxi, Kitty used a hand to wipe down her outfit, and when satisfied she allowed her hand to rest in Jake’s. Her face lit up when they neared the horse carriages and to express her excitement she gave her boyfriend’s hand a gentle squeeze. “This is going to be so fun. We’re like your typical, cliche couple. We’re the couples that people roll their eyes at in public and pretend it’s because they think PDA is obnoxious when, in reality, they’re just utterly jealous. We just need couple Halloween costumes now.” The wide smile that was sitting on her face soon faded when she realized how cheesy she sounded.

Jake Puckerman 

He couldn't help the smile that seemed permanently planted on his face as they walked towards the carriages. It was the same smile he often wore when he was with her. "They should be jealous," Jake shrugged, matter of factly. He wasn't sure how he felt about the costume idea, mostly because he couldn't even remember the last time he'd dressed up for Halloween. But he knew in the end if Kitty wanted to do it, he'd probably end up doing it without a fight. Maybe they could throw a costume party or something. Jake stood close to Kitty when they reached one of the carriages and talked to one of the drivers, if that's what they were called. "You ready," he grinned, giving Kitty's hand a little squeeze before leading her into the horse-drawn carriage.

Time to rejuvenate for another hard week.

I was going to stay out of this argument because I know Kitty can handle herself, but are you actually serious right now? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. If Kitty's a brick wall then you're like the Berlin Wall. As for Kitty being alone, she doesn't have to worry about that so don't worry about having to hold back that I told you so, it won't be needed. 

So how about you practice what you preach and back the hell off my girlfriend.

Yeah, my mom's already been bugging me about that since last year. I actually visit Juilliard while I was in New York too.. 

Have you started looking at colleges yet? That’s one of the best parts of senior year because the idea of getting out of Lima actually starts feeling like it’s possible.

Oh, well damn. You didn't even use it on me. That's just rude. 

Cause I already used up two weeks of my vacation time.

It feels so good to finally be a senior, but I'm still not looking forward to going back to school. I have a feeling I'll be really busy so I don't know when that will be, but hopefully. 

At least you have your final year of high school that’s close to getting started. I’m sure that’s going to keep you busy and hopefully you’ll be able to visit again soon.

Don't see why you shouldn't be able to ask for some days off if you ask ahead in enough time.

Smiling, she nodded once at the cab driver when Jake told him where to go and turned her body a little more towards Jake. Kitty took a moment to think about his question, shrugging, she placed her hands on her lap. “Then I suppose I will wait until after to ask the question, but if I see them treating the horse badly in any way, shape, or form, then we have to leave. And take the horse with us.” Staring up at Jake with a serious look, the blonde rubbed her lips  together. “As a child of the Lord it’s my duty to take care of all of God’s creatures, especially the horses.”

Jake honestly didn't think there would be an issue with the horses, but he nodded anyway. "Sounds fair. It's not like there isn't anything else in Central Park we could do." He had a few ideas himself. Each just as cliche as the horse carriage ride. Soon the cab was slowing to a stop, so Jake pulled out his wallet to pay the man. Once they stopped, he let Kitty slide out first before following after her, grabbing a hold of her hand again once they were both outside of the cab. With a grin, he pointed over to the line of horse drawn carriages then led Kitty in that direction.

And it kinda sucks, but it's nice to be in my own my bed again. 

I've missed Stark too, and I'm pretty sure he missed me.
