Hey! How long have you been drawing? Your art is so beautiful, btw. I'm completely in love with it :)
Hey there!
I don’t remember when I started drawing, I’ve just always been doing it. But it wasn’t until I was around 15yrs old that I started to actively try to improve my art, and that’s when my skills started to evolve a lot faster! And thank you so much, that makes me happy to hear! <3

Some of the loading screens I painted for SSO. Click on them to see them in their (almost) full resolution glory instead of super tiny like in the game.. :D Which one is your favorite?

Hey! I love stalking your blog hahha you are so talented. I was wondering if you have anything else for sso? Bc that concept art was amazing! Thanks. Lots of love <3
Hello! Awwh thank youu! ♥ Glad you like my work. :3 Yes, I just uploaded two more Firgrove concepts. There’s a lot more art I’ve done for SSO, but it usually takes a long time before I’m allowed to post them. But hopefully I can show some more stuff soon!

Just a couple props I designed for Firgrove. We don’t always take the time to do concepts for smaller things like these, our awesome 3D artists are fully capable of coming up with cool ideas themselves! But sometimes when we really want to push the artstyle, we dive deep into the look and feel of an area and do our best to give the game world life and history. Down to the tiniest wolf head carving on a chair...

A mood painting I did for Firgrove, an area in Star Stable Online. We do these sometimes to get a feel for what light, mood and atmosphere we would like to have in certain areas in the game. :)

A virtual plein air I did a while ago for practice. It’s somewhere in Thailand. Here’s a link to the streetview! I wonder who lives there. :0

how did you come to be a concept artist at sso?
I studied game graphics at a university in Stockholm, where I mostly learned doing 3D graphics. I studied concept art by my own during that time. At the end of the education we were going to apply for internships, so one of the companies I applied to was Star Stable! They liked my portfolio, so I did my internship there and was hired full time a bit later. And here I am! ^^

Firgrove looks amazing and I'm so excited to see it! Great work :D I do have a question, though! When did you start drawing and when did you know you wanted to be a concept artist? I love to draw but sometimes I get discouraged because it seems like everyone has been drawing since they were two :P I don't feel like I have 'natural talent' but I really want to improve.
Hey, thanks, and I’m so glad you liked it! :D <3
I don’t know when I started drawing, I’ve just always been doing it since I was little. But it was when I was around 15-16 years old that I discovered that there was something called “concept artist” and that I wanted to become one! That’s when I actively started trying to improve my drawing skills.
I know it’s easy to be discouraged when seeing artists who are reeally good (I struggle with that too) but try to be inspired by them instead! I don’t really believe in “natural talent”. People who started drawing young may have a head start because they simply have more time invested! But there’s still a huuuge difference in just drawing for fun and drawing to improve. Even someone with ‘talent’ has to practice a lot to reach a professional level. Drawing is like any other skill: music, programming, athletics, etc.. It’s all about having the dedication and patience to learn and practice to become better!
I feel like I could write a really long post about this but here are some of my thoughts at least! :) I hope they helped!

Art dump time!
Shuffled through my art folder and found some fun unfinished stuff, mostly from last year.
