on Neurodivergence in the modern era
having a lot of feelings about this but I feel like i can only explain them in two pictures? number one, in the past (pre-industrial era):
and now, it's more like
like do you see my vision. do you see what is making me frustrated. in the past, so much of our lives was spent in private and only with trusted loved ones, and now we are expected to spend a ton of time around strangers, near-strangers, and acquaintences, not to mention being Visible and Available for the internet, and when so much of us is visible and judged at all times, even the sheen of it being "acceptable to be neurodivergent" still means you get judged, labeled, and held to different standards.
it's not that i don't want to be called ND, i certainly AM. but part of the reason i NEED to be accommodated in everyday life is because there are a lot of things about MODERN life specifically that I'm unable to do without accommodation.

You will get farther in one week paying close, nonjudgmental attention to the unmet needs underlying your "bad" behavior than you will in a year of punishing yourself and demanding you become a different person. I'm right shut up.

Your children's show unfortunately has the absolute wrong take on tackling fascism. Yeah the power of friendship angle is showing a dismal lack of understanding of Marxist theory or even intro-level Leninism. Yeah my only two interests are children's media and online leftist discourse so this is gonna be a problem.
