. . I woke up to PERFECTION today!!! . Now who said - Nothing is perfect?? . Perhaps perfection has limitations only on humans and not on nature!! . . This is today's Sunrise!!!! Everyday I walk into sunrise to witness it without fail and spend few moments revering the Sun God. . And today this was the GIFT! . Look at the brilliance of the light of today's dawn. Painted to PERFECTION. As if nature laid the carpets in precision. I sure can see Math in it, even though I understand very little Mathematics. . . These perfectly laid rays went all across the sky and reached the feet of the moon on the west side of the sky, and ended somewhere at the horizon making the view completely dreamlike. I dragged my entire family to come and relish this moment together!! It is this special magical day of seeing both sun and moon together, in tandem, in perfection! It's just a day after the full moon, everything so PERFECT. . . I am a total believer of the principle of Heliotrophic Effect, and that's something I follow (one can google and read about this interesting phenomenon and how it effects individuals, teams, cultures, communities and the society) . . If this resplendence is the ray of hope, faith and miracles, I feel completely filled with it, deep within my body, mind and soul!! . . So the artwork on textbooks and in cartoon shows were painted real and not the imagination, or the (mis)conception of the artist. It's real!! . . . • In Memory Of • RIP • Nothing is Permanent • Transient Life • When they go • Energy Systems • Systems Theory • Metaphysics • . . Plants are sensitive to energies, the cosmic energy flow. . . This area of our home, as I notice, has some heavy energies. I usually sanitise the space by few regular cleansing methods and place plants here, mostly 🌱Pothos because they are very strong plants and can thwart heavy energy and still survive. . . This time, a few months back... . The beauty of this 🍀Heart Leaf Philodendron ( the plant in the pic) tempted me to place it in this space, just for beautification. This Philodendron which was happily growing in other parts of the house for more than 6-8 months, once brought to this space, within few days just perished. . . Plants help us guage energies in our spaces, and also shows different signs and if we can engage in keen observations, we can ensure self-care by learning to read these signs. This is something I deeply believe in, and I follow and that has helped me a lot. . . Like Einstein said - " Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better"... This red ceramic plant holding the 🍀 ~ String of Pearls plant, also called the 🍀 ~ Rosary Beads Plant and also 🍀 ~ Senecio Rowleyanus, is an interesting #succulent and is not always easy to procure. . . They look lovely in Kokedamas and we have offered them to clients as a complete bunch or as little embellishments on #doordangler Kokedamas. . . I will not claim it as an easy-to-grow plant!! . . I am trying to work "hardly" today, I have a responsibility coming up. . . So the Little Missy came back from school yesterday and approached me straight and said - Ma I want to do Farming!! Exactly that - #FARMING she said, with hashtag that ran in my head!!! . . I actually pulled my 12 year old closer to check whether she has a temperature, and whether she was ok! . . Yes, Of course Farming is there in our blood, in our genes, but at 12 it has never been saturated and clear and evident in any of our generations, at least the ones I know!!! . . I just confirmed again and asked her how she wants to start, and she brain stormed a little with me and said she needs just 2 or 3 pots, soil and seeds (while i was a little concerned whether she will ask me for a piece of land in this city, which i definitely cannot afford)... Thank God, I can provide her 10 times and maybe more, of what she has asked as her necessities now, to start off! . . So the farming is supposed to begin from today. I will update regularly. If Little Missy reads this post (which she will do) I hope this post and updates will keep her motivated. . . In the spirit of Kannada Rajyotsava, this shift dress I am wearing is again a #Charaka #weave, #natural cotton #fabric, natural dye extracts, block printed, and some #handwork inspired by Karnatakas #Kasuti work. The dress is from @desi_trust, all made by a women centric organization in Sagar, Shivamogga District in Karnataka. This Bougainvilla....aaaah, this Bougainvilla!!! This is more than 15 year old plant, my most sincere Bonsai!!! It was dying a couple of years ago due to some infestation at the roots, and I had lost hopes. Along with a crazy life and schedule then, I managed to ensure that it is nursed and replanted in this ceramic planter, that is some 7years back... . And since then it has been in this container and every now and then will sincerely flower!!!! Sometimes throws out fresh green leaves and stays beautiful and healthy, and then sheds, and then new growth and then flowers and then sheds...oh my god...the natural process just keeps going on - no clockwork this is, just stays in the PRESENT and gives the best at that point of time. . . The size, or the stature or the dimension has hardly changed for several years now. It has adapted so well to this little container. I have neither de-rooted, nor pruned...i occasionally de-weed, soften the soil a bit and add some compost, that's it!!!! And more LOVE!! . And my SINCERE PLANT just stays there doing its job of brightening up my soul!!!! . . This art of Bonsai, when the plant is mature and small in size is reffered as Mame (pronounced maa-may ), although Mames are supposed to be much more smaller in size (like 5 to 7 cms, yes CENTIMETRES of a mature tree!!! ). However, I am happy with my 15cms tall #Bougainvilla #Mame!!! . This kind of plant presentation, also reffered as a #Kusamono, I am still learning and figuring out... This green ground cover on the base of this plant is a natural growth. That globe and pebble embellishments are few of my old collection, of something re-purposed. . . #Plant #Art is an instinctive gift to me, I don't know how I have learnt this. I am sort of atypical, very unconventional and still a conformist when it comes to quite many things!! My ideas are considered bizzare, I am an outlier many times, yet very well accepted. One of the things I believe in strongly is - Mindful Consumption. So sourcing clothes/apparels is something I meticulously do!! . . Here is another beautiful Karnataka weave. Patteda Anchu Seere. Seere is Saree in Kannada. And this is one of my favourite sarees. I love it for the colours, I love it for the textures and I love it for the lovely drape it offers. Although available easily today on various portals, when I sourced this saree for myself few years back, I carefully went to its very source to get this piece. . . This eclectic mix of contemporary styled blouse made with traditional #Kalamkari fabric makes the ensemble unconventional, and that's the person I am. . . On a working Sunday, and when Bangalore traffic is still unpredictable, a traffic glitch made me click selfies.
