In this one Addy ultimately gets a revenge arc, and a total reset.

There's just so much that happens and it's so fast paced.

I stayed up to devour this just to see how everything was going to play out.

Honestly in some spots I was confused with how everything tied together.

There's still the deadly magical adventure aspect, with coming back to the dark acedemia part of it at the end.

This whole series was just such a journey and so much more than a run if the mill dark acedemia romance.

It still had some spicy parts but it's very plot heavy.

The first one is kind of light hearted and makes it seem like this series is going to be a fun magical dark acedemia.

This one changes the whole vibe.

It gets pretty dark from here on out.

There's still quite a bit of adventure, magical mystery, and a good amount of romance.

You can start to see a battle for good and evil unfolding in this one.

It still has a medium amount of spice and I definitely enjoyed it even though it went in a different direction than I was expecting.

I've been wanting to read a Keri Lake novel for quite some time so I decided to start with the one I see the most Nocticadia.

So far I'm enjoying the spooky atmosphere and how smoothly written it is.

I love Dark Acedemia and Horror Romance so I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out 👻🖤

Our FMC Addy grows up thinking she's just a regular human until she's 21 and visited by her Vampire dad who hadn't been in the picture...despite wanting to be.

Her mother wanted her to grow up safe and "normal."

There's some mental health rep involved, check your tws.

In this series being half human, half vampire, is extremely rare and they're known to be exceptionally powerful.

So she gets sent to a hidden Paranormal Academy for adult supernaturals to hone their craft. Like a Supernatural College.

This book was definitely giving Harry Potter vibes with the magic classes, house choices, and deadly trials, but if it was for every kind of Supernatural being and at College age.

There's 4 love interests who give off those bully vibes, at first but lats like two seconds before they're obsessed and overprotective.

Although she does need the protection since someone is out to get her.

I was completely sucked in the whole time! I've already started the next one and I can't wait to see how everything turns out!

This has fast/medium burn spice in it that gets pretty steamy.

This was a fun and delicious novella!

It's short, fast paced, very spicy, and the plot is definitely intriguing.

The MMC is a 21 yr old son of a cult leader who's a literal monster. His father brings home a new wife to sacrifice along with a 19 yr old step daughter (our FMC).

So yea they're step siblings but they didn't grow up together and it's just a cult scheme.

The cult is a part of the Jersey Devil legends.

The MMC hates his father and is immediately obsessed with his new step sister and will do anything to protect her.

The FMC is totally into him a monster romance reader!

It has a HFN ending and I guess you could just read this one but it's a duet.

I'm looking forward to reading part 2.

🕷 AOTD: Favorite is Bloody Mary. The one that creeped me out the most is the Lovers Lane one, where a young couple are at a makeout spot while a k!ller is on the loose. Iykyk 😅
