Just saw Tambo and Bones yesterday @kirkdouglastheatre 👏🏽. Best show I’ve seen in a long time! It’s about two characters trapped in a minstrel show. A very energetic rags-to-riches roast of America. Parts comical, farcical, satirical, political, historical, contemporary, surreal, futurist, emotional and poignant; in short, it’s a journey…one you need to take! You need to pay attention during some of the musical parts to catch everything that’s said, I need to go back to see it again. The desert had jambu (toothache plant flower native to Brazil) that creates a tingling numbness that dissipates quickly but makes you salivate.
