Hey I noticed on the spreadsheet that someone has been submitting characters from hentai/ecchi anime. Idk if you’re a minor or if you’re uncomfortable with this type of stuff being presented in your tournament, but I just wanted to let you know.

I don’t care personally (the fact I recognized some ecchi anime should tell you what type of person I am lol) I just wanna make sure that everyone is safe and ok.

I don't particularly care as long as the images themselves aren't super NSFW but I don't know how other people feel about this so I'm gonna hold another poll! (Are y'all getting sick of me yet?)

Hey this might be very random and feel free to disregard, but I saw how you weren't sure how big the bracket will be and then you were having the poll about what the max per series should be, and as someone who has run many brackets in the past, it's best to figure out your bracket size first THEN your max participants per source. Having 10 characters from one source is one thing in a 256 character bracket, a VERY different thing in a 64 character bracket (4% of characters from one source vs 15% from one source).

Obviously it's your tournament and you can run it how you like, I'm here for it all the same, but it will probably help you proportion it better if you know your max amount of characters first!

Yeah, I should've planned this better but in the beginning, I wasn't expecting it to gain any traction (that's why the definition is so broad also) and I thought I'd just figure it out as I went!

There are already about 500 characters submitted so I don't think it's gonna be that big of a problem!

What do you consider a "NSFW image"? It doesnt look like any of the pics submitted have bare boobs or genitals pictured. And I think it'd be unfair to not allow a character just because they have large breasts or a sexy outfit.

It's kinda hard to say what I'd call an "NSFW image", I guess it's straight-up nudity like you said, and characters dressed in lingerie type of clothing.

I've looked through a lot of the pictures and to be honest I've seen only one which I'd consider actually NSFW.

Personally I don't really care about how the characters are dressed but I wanted to gauge the general opinion.

And, even if "ban NSFW images" wins I'll probably just replace images with too scantily clad characters with ones where they're wearing more clothes!

How big will the tournament be?

That's what I should be asking, Anon! Jokes aside, I originally planned this tournament to have like... idk, 64 characters max, and now there are almost 400 characters submitted!

So yeah, I don't really know, I guess I'll just look at how many submissions there are next week and announce a maximum amount or something like that!

What would you say about a character who is a different type of nonhuman depending on the adaptation? I'm thinking of a character who in the novel was a sort of demon/deity, but in the show was technically an alien and not a demon. Should I submit them seperately even though it's the same guy, because it's a different type of nonhuman, or keep them as one despite being two different things?

If they're the same except for the type of nonhuman they are I'd submit them as one guy/or submit the version of the character you like more!
