He’s already dealing with serious chronic illnesses (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, seizure disorders, POTS, mast cell disease, gastroparesis, ME, trigeminal neuralgia, a history of pulmonary embolism) and his mental health condition suffered deeply from years of trauma. (He struggles with conditions such as depression, generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, and CPTSD, as well as being autistic.) Living in this kind of environment is putting his life at risk.

Carrd was updated with new info -> June 19 Update: So far, we have raised $320 which were used for food, water and personal hygiene items. Urgent: Things are getting worse. Charlie's household is forcing him out. He will be on the streets by July 1st. He can’t survive there, so this is a question of life and death. If anyone has a room or just a little place for temporary stay, please DM! At this point we are desperate and not restricted to a single state, any place in the US will work as long as it is safe. Time is running out :(

anyone interested in a Charity Art Dump?

this is truly just a feel-out post for now but:

i've been thinking of starting a charity blog (or patreon, even??) lately -- with the idea being that people could donate money and get a little digital download or access to extra art/comics.

i think either each "campaign" would be for a specific charity/cause OR it would be a kind of monthly thing where i'd announce which charity/cause all the money donated during that month was going to. (still thinking on this...i'd like to not touch the money myself if possible)

this is a project i plan to pursue either way, but i also think it could be fun to see if anyone else was interested (and able) to donate their art/writing/time for something like this? we could even do fandom/themed prompts or an 18+ month/campaign, etc.

i need want it to be very low maintenance for now, so in my head it would truly just be like: you donate $5 (if it was a patreon, it could have tier levels even?) and receive a digital dump of art files plus a "cover" listing the charity/cause, the theme, the contributors, etc.
