i’m just so happy for emma though ok???

i mean especially in the way they reframed the episode to feel straight out of season one; it even “picked up” where it ended. so it made the conclusion of emma’s journey towards love and acceptance and a happy beginning so much more palpable and beautiful. 

the premise of the whole show has always been an exploration of what happens after a happy ending, and i like that the conclusion was that it’s…life. continuing. it’s day to day and coming home to your love and going to work and feeling fulfilled by that and it’s just the little things that build the big picture. i love that.

emma’s story has meant the world to me, and i’m glad it was given the send off it deserved.

i wanna write a real world royal family au where emma is a princess abroad and her mother decides to abdicate and so emma returns home to a completely different life; she is now queen, she is now the face of a nation, she’s grappling between her role as a constitutional monarch without much political power but wanting to make change and help people

like i want a multi chap slow burn story where now queen emma falls in love with her chief advisor killian jones, brother to her bodyguard liam, and navigates her new life. i want it all

however i have exactly zero free time so really, does this already exist, and if not, who out there can i force to write it
