Oooh this is so interestingggg
You are honestly right on the money with the patronous! I've always considered it to be a leopard personally. I'm glad to know that my perception of myself closely aligns with others perceptions of me.
And that quirk is sooooo interesting. The implications of this are extremely broad and borderline omnipotent 😅. Like for instance. What happens if one were to fine tune gravity? Electromagnetism? Or the flow of time? Density of matter allowing you to phase through objects?
You mentioned the limitation of it being objects you can physically see or interact with so what about the human brain? Could you fine tune your intellect? How about other's perceptions of you? Their beliefs even?
Way too many possibilities to abuse with clever applications.... I love it hahaha
matchup for @lost-eternity

HARRY POTTER MATCHUP
Patronus
I did not need to read you information a second time because I immediately knew that your Patronus was a Black Panther — because in truth? There is quite literally no question about it. I think the more you think about this possibility, the more it just makes sense. To begin with, u carry yourself with an air of mystery and quiet strength, which is quite similar to how a panther silently prowls through the shadows, acting so imposing and graceful (again like you!). It is not even a question to ask if a panther is intimidating — just look up some images and videos to get that answer. You have an elegance to you created through your meticulous attention to detail in everything you do, your dark academia wardrobe to your perfectly curated life. But beneath your polished facade? There’s a ferocity that comes alive when you’re pushed or challenged. Much like a panther, you’re fiercely independent, unapologetically so. You don't back down from anything, and your intellectual is lethal. You know how to read a room, analyze the situation, and keep people at arm’s length, not because you always want to, but because you want the space to be yourself. But enough about this persona, let’s speak about your other side— the wild, free-spirited energy that is created and comes out when you’re adventuring, skydiving, or climbing. You’re not one to sit idly by; you crave excitement and challenges, just like a panther who thrives in wilderness. You’re not easy to crack emotionally, and that is exactly why the panther fits you best.

MY HERO ACADEMIA MATCHUP
Quirk
Your quirk is Fine-Tune which is the manipulation of precision. At first, I couldn’t think of a power for you, but one thing was set in mind — the quirk would be subtle yet efficient, not a flashy sort of one that characters like Katsuki or Shoto have.
Quirk Type: Emitter/Control
Description: In simple words (because it is rather hard to get your head around it), you quirk allows you to manipulate the precision of any physical object or material around you. This allows to enhance or alter an objects function with extreme accuracy and precision.
How it works:
Material Adjustment: You can make very subtle, precise adjustments to physical materials and objects around you as mentioned before. For example, you could tighten the metal in a lock to make sure that it it is more durable and can not be broken easily, increase the sharpness of a knife or a weapon by controlling the structure of the metal, or adjust the flexibility of a piece of fabric. The more precise the adjustment or the size of object can determine how much effort it takes to maintain control and change it accurately, so small tweaks are easier to manage than large-scale changes.
Battle Ground: This is not a battle related quirk but this does not mean you can not fight in battle. With some additional weapon skills and combat skills, your quirk can be used to adapt your environment or tools of the enemy (if you are in closer proximity) to your advantage. Ex. You could adjust the hardness of the ground beneath you to make it more stable or maybe even make it more runny on the opponents side, or increase the sharpness of your weapon mid-battle.
Focus & Control: Your quirk is tied to your ability to concentrate and focus on the task at hand. So the more focused and calm you are during a situation, thr more refunded your tuning is. That is one of the reasons it is not a battle quirk because battles tend to make one more distracted or emotionally charged (since your quirk is more of a logistical one) which makes it harder to make precise adjustments.
Personal Applications: You can use this ability outside of combat or hero work as well. For example, you can fine-tune your own appearance by adjusting your makeup, clothing, or accessories slightly. If you wanted to adjust an outfit because it is too large or the fabric is not to your liking, you could manipulate fabrics to adjust their fit or texture. You can also apply this to when you are drawing, by making the lines sharper or moving the eyes closer. For baking, you can use your quirk to make everything more precise, especially since baking (unlike cooking) is all about precision.
Elements: With extreme focus and years of skill, you can even manipulate the properties of natural elements like air, water, or fire. You won’t be able to control elements in the same way heroes with element based quirks like Shoto, but you can adjust their qualities. For example, you could increase the density of the air to make it harder to breathe or change the viscosity of water to make it more gelatinous and harder to move around. You aren’t controlling the elements, but rather adjusting them.
Sensory Enhancement: Similar to ability above, you can, with skill and focus, fine-tune the physical properties of your senses. You can enhance your hearing, sight (perhaps to have a clearer vision in dark areas), or even the sensitivity of your skin. By simply adjusting the focus of your eyes or modifying the vibrations you sense (in order to even sense these vibrations, you would need to adjust and modify all your senses to a degree), you can perceive details beyond an average human and it gives you heightened awareness of your surroundings and the ability to detect even the slightest movements or changes.
Quirk Weaknesses: Unfortunately, all quirks come with weaknesses and this one is no different
Concentration levels: Because your quirk relies on concentration and focus, any distractions or emotional instability prevents your quirk from reaching its full potential, faltering instead. If you're overwhelmed or simply not directing enough focus towards your fine tuning, your adjustments can become sloppy or become something new entirely, damaging the objects you're working with.
Physical Limits: You can manipulate materials with fine precision, but this doesn't give you direct control over them in a sweeping, large-scale way. If an object were too big, you have physical limits on them. If you were trying to manipulate something massive (like an entire building), the amount of control and energy needed would be so much greater, making it nearly impossible at times or simply resulting in extreme fatigue or sickness.
Limited Range: Some quirks allow you to work at any, but ur quirk only works on materials or objects you can physically see clearly or touch. So while you could fine-tune something at a distance if it’s close enough and within your sight range, but you can’t manipulate something like an object on the other side of a large building or battle ground (especially if it was a smaller object that would require more focus on the details) without close proximity
High-Level Manipulation: The more complex an object or material, the harder it is to manipulate with absolute precision. An advanced machine with many moving parts may be harder to adjust in fine detail compared to simpler tools. It may also require more energy, work and focus to adjust.
The Cost Of Precision: The finer and more detailed the adjustment you are trying to make consumes more energy and time. Fine-tuning smaller detail (like changing the friction of a hair-thin wire) or working on large objects wluld take immense effort, and requires a prolonged use of your quirk and this can drain your stamina. You can’t maintain extreme precision for extended periods without tiring or losing focus.

I think I found the easiest way to explain the difference between intelligence and wisdom. One time when I was 9 my friend Chuck and I were deep in the backwoods looking for wildcats, and he stepped into the thick mound of pine needles at the base of a pine and got these huge, fat ticks attached to his legs, and even after I pulled them off he was just screaming and crying.
In my panic I started lecturing to him about how tick feeding habits worked, how those bites probably only hurt so badly because the tick’s mouth had likely detached in the wound, and he obviously wasn’t helped by that at all. Eventually we attracted the attention of this HUGE bearded guy who was passing through our woods, and he stopped to ask what was wrong.
I told him (and so did Chuck, while sobbing) and he told us in a monotone to wait there, then went away for about five minutes before returning with a washed-out Cool Whip container that had been filled with this milky white translucent liquid that smelled?? vaguely like peppermint and looked a little grainy??? and he put it on Chuck’s tick bites and Chuck almost immediately calmed down and said that the pain was gone.
I asked the guy what the liquid was. and he said “Good for your itchins” and walked off. I never saw him again. Absolute druid of a man.

Idk if this is gonna be controversial but I won't lie... I DNFed the ACOTAR series.
I have nothing against the fandom or the author, this is just my unfiltered opinion.
I got through the first two or three books I believe. But it got to the point where I couldn't take it any longer.
As far as Mary Sue MCs go, Feyre isn't too awful and unlikeable (she's definitely better than Juliette from Shatter Me who has the collective personality of wet card board). So I didn't hate reading from her POV. And that isn't what turned me off to the series.
What really annoyed me was how smart Feyre is... But only when the plot calls for it. She oscillated so fast between being smart and capable to straight up dumb as nails it gave me whip lash. And she was only dumb because plot. That's the only reason. And it low key ticked me off.
I think the biggest most blatant example of his was the riddle under the mountain. The answer was so viscerally painfully obvious. And it was endlessly frustrating to have to read an entire THRID of the book that was left while mentally screaming at her "you're seriously smart enough to trick the death murder worm but you can't figure out the answer to the most obvious riddle ever given?"
I also noticed a LOT of commonalities between Feyre and the Eros and Psyche myth and I am unsure if that was intentional or not. But I enjoyed it never the less.
And then later books just got way too smutty for me and I just sort of lost interest.
Then I found out that Feyre gets pregnant in the more recent books and I stopped reading entirely because yeah, I agree. I hate that trope. On a spiritual level.
Overall I think my rating of the series is like... 5/10. I didn't hate it. I liked it enough to get like 3 books deep before quitting.
I enjoyed the cruel prince way more. It does a better job at incorporating the folklore elements into the fae mythos. I feel like it did a better job handling a similar concept.

𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔, 𝑨 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒔 & 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑹𝒆-𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅
Okay, so I'm re-reading all of SJM's books (well, Throne of Glass series, ACOTAR & Crescent City) before the new CC3 book comes out. And I've had some thoughts and opinions ... (I would also love if people wanted to share their 2 cents!)
𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝑶𝑮:
・Okay, I guess I'll never have the same exciting feeling when reading this series
・It feels like coming home, honestly.
・When the book ended, I just ... I didn't want it to be over, I felt like Aelin when everyone was going back to their own kingdoms - just stay until the end of Winter!
・I cannot say how much I love Abraxos; he PLAYS in the FLOWERS, and he FALLS IN LOVE. Like??? Can we get a lil book on the Wyverns SJM please! (because technically the game of thrones dragons are actually wyverns. Dragons have four legs and a pair of wings, wyverns have two legs and wins that attach to the front.
・I can't picture Lorcan perfectly in my head and that drives me crazy. And I was also againt Henry Cavill as Rowan, but I can't unsee it. After watching the Witcher...
・
𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝑪𝑶𝑻𝑨𝑹:
・I honestly do think Feyre is a bit of a Mary-Sue. Even after all these books, I still don't understand why a mother would ask her youngest to look after the two eldest? Her illiterate youngest child?
・And why is Elan planting FLOWERS in the garden? Why not VEGETABLES? Ffs, or at least edible flowers like wtf.
・Nesta ... I'm one of the people who understand her, but also ... coming from poverty myself, I know what it's like to
・Also can Feyre fall into her female rage a bit? I just feel like she has a lot of pain that she's pushed down, and down and down. She needs to ... have more healing.
・AND HER BECOMING PREGNANT GOD REALLY, it just kinda ... I hate that trope. I only like this trope with Katniss and Peeta: that's how it's done right.
・Having two sisters mated to two best friends, but then the third sister and best friend may not be mated?? It's either all in or all out.
・I wish there was some explanation about the magic involved in not only the mating, but also the cauldron. It's all too ambiguous.
・AND WHAT MAKES MOR POWERFUL?! "Her power is truth." What. Does. That. Even. Mean.
・I did like A Court of Silver Flames though. I thought it was a brilliant book about Nesta's healing.
𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝑪:
・It took me a while to get into the book, but once I did ... omg, I have even more characters that I love.
・And I cannot wait until the next book comes out! Although there were some aspects of the book that I found boring; like the viper queen (if I even got that right)
・Also the audiobook for CC & TOG are much more superior than ACOTAR. Even though they have a 'dramatised version,' there's an even better one on Youtube by the reader hag.
・I miss Lehaba so much
・And I saw somewhere that Bryce is the long-lost ruler of a Prythian court? And that Azriel might be one of the Princes of Hel?
・SJM does a great job at forming groups that you feel apart of
・Some people find Hunt boring, I don't ... I, well I rank him above Chaol. Ruhn is cool though, Bryce is incredible. Though I hate when I look up fanart of her and it's just a skinny girl with red hair? She's got golden skin, she's fit but curvy, and I want to see proper representation.

Okay, so this idea this idea so under utilized in the movies/show. You have no idea how much I've thought about this.
Triple Stryke venom already creates a numbing sensation which absolutely can be used as anesthetic.
But what really got me are Threadtails. Granted the canoncity of this species is pretty suspect. But. They are said to be able to breath and ice based mist that can heal wounds. And no one. Not a single person looks into this?
No one even tries to see if it's true? I mean. Could you imagine? What if it did work. And what if you collected a lot of threadtail mist and boiled it down into a hyper condensed solution. Would... Would that make an instant health potion?
We don't know because literally no one tries!
The only example we get of dragon based medicine is the buffalord episode. There's a lot of untapped potential here 😭
Something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately (why exactly, I’ve no clue) is paralyzing stings from dragons in How to Train Your Dragon. Namely the sting of the Triple Stryke and of adolescent Speed Stingers.
Just.. the idea of in-universe dragon-based medicine is super cool to me. Gothi and Hiccup would totally figure out a way to use the numbing venom of a Triple Stryke as some sort of analgesic, topical or otherwise. And it’s already been stated that the venom of a young Speed Stinger only paralyzes very locally to the site of the sting, which could be put to use as a surgical anesthetic.
I know a bunch of you are nerds too, what other dragon medicine do you think would be plausible in Hiccup’s time?

It's done.
Not super happy with how the second one turned out but oh well.
Obviously still a WIP.
Thought I would hop on the spidersona trend. I *heavily* referenced a LOT of spider Gwen from the comics (but adjusted the proportions to be more realistic and look less like she broke her back in half arching so hard 💀) so credit goes to where credit is due.
The amount of photos I had to take of myself doing these poses to make sure they were even anatomically feasible is laughable. Long story short. Yes, they're possible. You just need a dance background in order to do them without breaking yourself.
This has been painful to do.
It's a good thing I'm a masochist.
