Imagine sharing a shower with your f/o, but not in a “spicy” way— as in a “we’re tired as fuck and need to wash off the long days we’ve just had before we pass out”. It’s more of a scrubbing each other down so you can get to curling up in bed together faster, but it’s just as big a show of their trust in you to see them in a vulnerable state regardless.

My writing drafts... there are two- one is a fic for Santana and Anderson in an Immortal x Reincarnated Soul AU, and the other fic is one for my s/i Amanita and my friend Hedone's s/i Merope (Amanita and Merope are sisters!) in a heartwarming sisterly story about a sad AU we came up with together once upon a time :>

They're both quite big---- so big, I might just take down my Santana and Anderson one as it is and upload it instead to Archive of Our Own since I WANT to add more to it but tumblr is straining with the weight of how many words there are (currently around 11K). The Amanita and Merope one is going to be big too but I've already broken it into different posts for different chapters haha so yeah! Excited for those!

You ever see someone draw your f/o in a way that gets you flustered enough to feel embarrassed about it? It’s like “oh there’s that artist who draws my special guy in a way that makes my brain not work sometimes”. It makes me wanna hide under a rock so people can’t see me.

In a crowded public space

• They leaned close, voice meant only for you. “Hey. Stay with me. I know what your mind is saying right now, but listen,” Their thumb brushed across your knuckles. “You’re worth more than the harsh voice in your head ever lets you believe. More than the way strangers make you feel.” The chaos didn’t vanish, but with their hand in yours, you could breathe again.

• Their hand on the small of your back was steady, guiding you through the press of people. They kept their pace with yours, not rushing, letting you know wordlessly that you didn’t need to push yourself to move faster.

• Whenever the crowd felt too loud, too close, they angled their body just enough to create a barrier, subtle but protective, so you had a pocket of space to exist in.

• They murmured little check-ins in your ear, gentle reminders you didn’t have to answer fully: “Still with me?” “Need a break?” “Want me to get us out of here?”

• Their jacket sleeve brushed against yours, a constant point of contact that said, I’m here. You’re safe.

• When your breathing hitched, they matched their rhythm to yours, slow and steady, letting you unconsciously sync to them until your chest loosened.

• If you wanted to leave, they didn’t make you explain or justify it. One look, one squeeze of your hand, and they were steering you toward somewhere quieter without hesitation.

• If you stayed, they made it feel bearable, not by fixing everything, but by being an anchor in the noise, reminding you with every touch and every look that you weren’t going through it alone.
