Devilman was written in the 70s, and if it featured a motif of cosmic censorship incipiently, it was as the extinction events that 'naturally' eliminated (actually just sequestered) the demons and allowed the development of modern humans as a new generation of subjects for God (strongly implied in-text to be the Demiurge of gnostic thought). Devilman Lady was written in the 90s and explicitly references resets of timelines and reality and the recasting of previous challengers to God's cosmic hegemony as cultural artifacts; Titans and Olympians as mythology while the Titans are literally seen trapped in Hell, Devilman escaping hell as a specter to see his image reintroduced in a radically changed Japan (the author speaking through his character, no doubt) as a line of toys and media in-universe. It's eerie in the way that The Matrix is eerie, but it actually goes beyond making you wonder if everything is a 'simulation', to wondering which forgettable details of everyday existence are actually tongue-in-cheek references made by a cosmic censor engaged in Reaganesque perception management. Imagine presenting a credible threat to God and he just flips the table and has your successors remember you as an internet meme while the real you languishes in Hell. Horrifying.

Save My Brother Samer’s Life 🚨
If you scroll past this, you are ignoring a life that can be saved.
I’m writing as a brother watching Samer struggle for survival. His health has deteriorated to the point of falling into a coma, and we are unable to provide him with the necessary treatment. 💔
Samer suffers from bipolar disorder, and his stability relied on daily medications including LeponeX (Clozapine), Depalept Chrono (Sodium Valproate), and Lithium CO3 (Lithium Carbonate). These medications helped stabilize him, but without them, his health has worsened significantly. Every moment is crucial, and the pain and worry are relentless. 😞

There is no place for my brother in the hospital, and we cannot secure the treatment he needs. Imagine being unable to help your own brother as he struggles, without a way to provide the medicine he needs to recover.
Your donation could be the only hope to bring Samer back to life, giving him a chance to heal and come back to us. 🙏
Every contribution, no matter how small, could make a tremendous difference in saving Samer’s life. 💙
