China Virus // White House Virus

After months of open racism from the US president, the tables have turned after pure stupidity of insisting that the virus was not that bad and that masks were not essential to wear. Apparently, the Chinese president flipped it on the US president and called Covid19 ‘white house virus’ just like the other party has always been calling Covid19 ‘China virus’. Whether it is true or not, I felt the need to talk about it. It is a serious matter, but it is incredibly ironic and laughable if people were not dropping dead left and right.

I had a conversation with my friend last night regarding family and the future, being 21, it’s only expected we started talking about the future. We talked about how we were raised and how we would treat our offspring differently to make sure they grow up in a more open-minded and accepting home.. That being said, I realized I do not want kids. Maybe later.. But is the ‘maybe later’ feeling the need to give in to what society expects of women? Society, especially Asia, expects women to be good wives and at least be able to give birth to two healthy children.

In times like these, it is more evident that certain groups of people are entitled. Besides the obvious - men being more entitled. This article also mentions the white people.
