Eleven wasn't STUPID. It didn't take long at all for people to get that about her. She was however, learning everything about people and how they worked for the FIRST TIME. Everything else until this point had been a lie. Hopper was someone she looked to for reassurance in a lot of ways . . . so even if he was dreaming . . . she WORRIED.

She huffed out a sigh when he EXCUSED her back to bed, with the promise of her favorite in the morning for breakfast. That wasn't going too work. Not this time. With an EXPECTANT look on her face, she shrugged. " Now . . . and we can talk. We're already up anyways. "

" You were talking in your sleep. "

Hopper jerked awake at the feel of El tapping his shoulder, dropping the half-eaten apple in his hands. ❝ What- What is it? Whoae in danger ❞ Worry in his voice and gaze as he settled it upon his DAUGTHER. When he noticed that she seemed okay and that her worry was for him, a sense of relief washed over him. ❝ I'm sorry if I woke you up, Kiddo. ❞ Truthfully, he has not been sleeping much lately, and when he does, it is restless, plagued by endless nightmares. He rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands, trying to get rid of the sleep that was still very heavy on his lids. ❝ I promise you have no reason to worry about me. Now It's late. Go back to bed, El, and I will make a triple-decker eggo extravaganza in the morning. How does that sound? ❞

still working on the color scheme of the blog. i thought maybe an eggo waffle colored theme . . . but now i'm not so sure. but i'm here. the muse for my girl has been biting a lot the last couple of days. a carrd will also be coming out in a few days once i have the energy to make one.

El looked at the strange man with a look of scared and confusion. Looking around this place looked enough like Earth. She didn't understand what happened. One moment she was with her friends. She was home and she was safe. Now she was here with no explanation other than this strange man. Looking down when he asked if she was okay.
