I don't want to be a vengeful person. Anger and hatred and the subsequent guilt of those feelings are burdensome. I know vengeance does not equate to justice, and hurting those who have hurt me won't undo the trauma they've caused. But sometimes, I want to ignore my morals. Sometimes I need to bathe in those feelings and let them wash through my soul like the water of a baptismal font.

This track is that tangle of feelings.

Чернобог​/​Белобог has been released after 9 months of fucking around and finding out nothing in particular.

I started this album at a very traumatic time in my life. I worked on it religiously for a while, and then when I left that traumatic place I almost completely forgot about it. This album is a relic of barricading my door because it wouldn’t lock, of sleeping clutching a hatchet, of dissociating until I forgot where I was or what was going on around me. By finally releasing this album, I am releasing that pain and terror from my heart.

This album is a narrative, a glimpse into 9 months’ time. It is about how a knife cannot heal wounds.
