"oh really? i'm from busan. i've never been to seoul unfortunately. one of the many things on my bucket list" minkyu replied looking around the room they were standing in. "my mom actually taught me english while i was growing up."

      at the sound of someone screaming in the foyer of the home, bleu found him jumping, the sounds of bottles clanking as he slammed the fridge shut before him because yes, after being in the house for a good hour, the ONLY thing he could think of was when he’d eat. he was starving. nevertheless, tired feet would carry him in a swift motion to where the voice came from. hands at the corner of the wall, he’d peek his head out and eye the stranger. “have you never been in a house like this before?” bleu would speak softly as not to startle the male, one of his brows pulled gently upwards.

although it was soft, minkyu jumped slightly when he heard the strangers voice from not realizing the others were already at the house. he spun around while giving a nervous chuckle. "can't say i have. i wish. then maybe i wouldn't be making such an idiot out of myself" he replied reaching down for his bags. "are there a lot of people here already?"

Emelina was only a few steps behind, lugging her overstuffed suitcase - which, in fairness, contained everything she owned except for her van - when the person in front of her suddenly ran to the window. Quirking an eyebrow she went over to the window as well to look over his shoulder only for her breath to be taken away by the sight. “Mother fucker, look at that!” she exclaimed herself. She knew from the photos she had seen beforehand that the views were going to be something else. But seeing them in person was another experience entirely. “Can you believe we actually get to fucking live here?” she turned to grin at her new housemate.

the nickname took minkyu off guard at first before he let out a loud laugh. he moved to the side allowing the girl standing behind him to get closer to the window. "not at all. i still feel like i'm dreaming to be honest" he nodded continuing to look out the window in amazement. "i'm minkyu by the way."

“Well, It is a pretty big house. Plus the area is simply beautiful.” Taemin agreed, a small smile being his only other response. “Have you never been to Italy? I think I’ve been here at least twice.” Though in actuality he had been here before than five times on tour in the past.

"the pictures honestly do it no justice at all" he spoke keeping his attention on the sea. out of his whole life, minkyu had only been to the beach once maybe twice when he was little. coming to a big house like this had always just been a dream of his. "this is actually my first time." he replied while turning to face the other. "did you stay in this area?"

Tanja really had little idea of what to expect when coming to an Italian villa like this for a show, her entire life she had jumped around between different tiny apartments, sure they were usually in pretty areas given the historic element to the city but it some old architecture couldn’t really fix a one bedroom apartment for three. As soon as she got off the train she was just staring at everything around her in awe, paying little attention to her surroundings until suddenly someone right next to her yelled, causing her to startle, something she was fortunately able to bounce back from pretty quickly once she actually processed what had been said.

“Yeah, it really is.“

"sorry i don't mean to yell. i've just never actually seen anything like this in person" he admitted giving a shy smile

evie was still a little bit miffed that she was here.

not that being in italy or having a break from work wasn’t appreciated. no, it was the fact that she had been pushed, without her consent, into this televised ‘show’ that sounded no better than that trash jersey shore by her coworkers (!) no less, is the problem. evie was a workaholic, sure, and she needed a break, badly, but did it have to be this nonsense?

she grunted as she pulled her suitcase along the last few steps and sighed as she felt the blessed coolness of the villa as she passed through the doors and into the foyer. at least, it’s a bit peac— her thoughts were (rudely) interrupted as someone just a few paces in front of her shouted. “jesus h— way to scare someone, why don’t you?”

minkyu glanced over towards the girl making her way in with raised brows. it was obvious that he had already stuck someone nerve. "sorry about that. i'm just a little too excited"

He’s deduced that sitting out in the common room is the best place to meet all the rest of the company that is to come. Now that Minho’s realized he actually can’t go about exploring the city right this very moment ( something about needing enough footage of them settling in before they leave them to their devices long enough for them to go out and explore– ), he’s made himself content with lounging on a thoroughly comfortable sofa facing one of the big balconies the house comes with. ( Can’t compromise on the view, can he? ) The sound of the large doors shutting behind the new company isn’t as startling as the yell, Minho’s head perking up and turning to eye the new addition. “—Wait ‘til you try the gelato in the fridge.” He responds, his own hands holding a cup of it. ( It was there to be eaten, after all. ) Throwing a free arm over the back of the sofa he was resting on, Minho nodded at the guy. “’m Minho. Where’d you fly in from?”

"they weren't lying when they said we were coming to paradise huh?" he laughed while turning to face minho. "i'm minkyu. i'm from south korea. how about you?" minkyu usually was awkward while meeting new people. but he swore to himself that he would try his hardest to relax and keep calm.

if he were completely honest with himself, stevie definitely did not believe he got chosen to be on the show. he was just a gamer, though professional he didn’t think that would get him a spot on such a show. especially one that took place in italy. the male would be damned if he said he wasn’t super hyped about it though. walking into the house, stevie was distracted by his unnatural surroundings, eyes widened and in shock…until he tripped over someone’s bag and nearly toppled over. “fuck, jesus christ!” he cursed, catching his balance on anyone nearby. 

minkyu's eyes widened as he reached over quickly attempting to help the other from falling. when he realized they tripped over his bags he mentally cursed at himself. "i am so sorry.."

“watch your profanity. we’re on camera now,” niko pointed towards the corner of the room with a small smirk on his lips, clearly not serious about his own warning. he hopped off the couch to join the other at the window. “wait till you see the outside. they’ve got a pool and a hot tub looking over the mountains. can you imagine throwing a party in here? fucking incredible.”

for a moment minkyu thought the other was serious and his eyes widened as he glanced around at all the cameras. he hadn't even thought about that. the more the other spoke he let out a small laugh. "are you serious? i will definitely be going to check them out once i get this stuff packed away" he spoke while grabbing at his bags.

Grayson’s reaction to walking into the villa, had been almost a mirror of image of this newcomers, and he couldn’t help a grin from settling on his lips, a laugh slipping out. Tucking his hands into his pockets, he just walked up beside the other at the window, eyes staring over the coastal view. “I’ve never seen water so blue before.” He mused, which was saying something considering he was from the sunny shores of Los Angeles.  "It’s so fucking unreal.“

minkyu didn't want to seem rude, but he couldn't take his eyes off the water. his whole life until his video started showing up everywhere giving him attention, he never thought he'd be able to experience something like this. "i can honestly say i am never going to want to leave this place."

“well aren’t you just adorable,” she cooed, petite body leaning against the wall that separated the living room from the hallway that led to a place she wasn’t familiar with. she only knew how to get from her bedroom to the front area where the other’s were supposed to be. her natural self was already out and open to the public, hair styled in a ponytail as she rocked her favorite cartoon pants and some shirt she randomly packed. “want to share some of your energy with me, hm? i’m slightly jet-lagged right now and it sucks that i’m sleepy.” she never really traveled so leaving her hometown to come on this show was a big reach in her opinion. 

a deep blush formed on his face as he shook his head. "w-who me? not at all" he laughed nervously while turning to face the girl. "i honestly have no idea where all the energy came from. usually i'd be ready to crash by now."

my family is getting on my nerves and wont leave me alone long enough to do my replies. so i’m gonna get off for a few. but i’ll answer everything once i get home tonight!! :)

when minkyu first received the invitation to come onto the show he thought it was some kind of joke. now that he was walking through the doors, struggling to drag along his bags he was simply amazed. his plump lips parted slightly as he spun around before stopping in front of the window. "holy shit this is so amazing!" he yelled out dropping his bags not bothering to see if there were anyone around him.

hello everyone!! i’m currently stranded at a cookout but i brought my laptop just because i knew we were opening at 3. anYWAYS, i’m orion, i’m 25, she/her and this is my pain in the ass minkyu. im trash and haven’t made a character page for him or anything. but basically he’s just a kid trying to make ends meet and happened to make a video of himself that went viral. i’ll probably write more later when my wifi isn’t so horrible. but yes i can’t wait to roleplay with you all !!
