The Maiden-Made-of-Light, Yi Ti's mother goddess, who abandoned the world after the Blood Betrayal and the death of the Amethyst Empress.
This one was fun - I drew heavy inspiration from classic Chinese art of Xian immortal maidens, complete with a ruyi scepter. This may be my favorite piece of the whole bunch.

Writing a backstory and thinking about how funny it is that the CCG knows some of the ghouls by name because you just know that some ghouls have to be pissed when their identity is discovered because they sound way less cool. Imagine you’re a ghoul known as The White Tiger or The Hellfang and get to see your picture on wanted posters with your badass title. Then a dove sees your face or finds your information and the next day your wanted poster says “Jake” and they probably added your worst drivers license photo too

Limnaios
I call to Dionysos Limnaios, The God of the marshes, Whose eyes are soft and grey, Whose hair is that of soft green moss, Whose clothes are those of windswept reeds. I praise the God who stands on boundaries, Who knows the salty ocean and the fresh springs, Who knows the deep forest and the shallow pool, Who keeps watch over the places between. I praise Him who takes delight in uniting opposites, Who revels in salty air and sweet water, Who sings with birds and frogs, Who dances upon rich and fertile earth. This is the God whose praises I sing, Most blessed Limnaios, glorious Dionysos, God who watches the strange places, Who is crowned with the glow of will-o-the-wisps. I have sought and have found You in the marshes.

Teaser for next wip part
Many of the dynasties thereafter the Long Night histories have been lost to the poor record keeping of early Yi Tish civilization. Bamboo-panel books and pressed parchment were kept in far too humid conditions, the temples often succumbing to horrid flooding. With what spare information esteemed scholars have recovered and unraveled, they have made a short timeline of these ancient dynasties constructed around 3,000 years after the Blood Betrayal.
To note; the only official name given by and to the dynasty of its own era is that of the Clear Blue Dynasty. All other reigning eras have been named by scholars of the present time.
The Ebony Dynasty has the earliest records of official imperial reign over smaller leagues of territory. Unearthed, smaller ruins dot the landscape in most of what is now the Yehur province.

There's a lot to be said about Bethesda and the Elder Scrolls, but you gotta appreciate the hustle of coming up with in-universe lore bullshittery to handwave away cross-game inconsistencies.
The cat-people look different game-to-game? Uuhh they have entirely different body structures based on their own version of Turbo Astrology. The lizard dudes looked like humans in the first game? Uuhh they're mutant plant people that evolve rapidly. This entire country looks different because we're trying to cash in on the fact that Lord of the Rings just came out a few years ago? Uuhh Lightning Jesus retroactively changed it. Which one of these endings is canon and who gets to keep the giant robot? Uuuhhhhh time paradox

Specific Trope of the Day
The most interesting family's ocs (ocs that are related to other characters) are the children-that-could-have-been-born-or-survived
Like Petyr and Lysa's child, Cersei's black-haired firstborn, Clegane's baby sister, Rhaenyra's daughter, even Rhea Royce and Daemon's children.
Perhaps a couple with a (forbidden? ex? legendary?) romance and no canon kids
Or maybe children that died early like Rhaenys and Aegon or Elurin and Elured.
Or Princess Anastacia or the two Princes in the Tower

I love that I'll go look on the One Wiki To Rule Them All to look at the pages for Easterlings and Southrons as if they've changed at all in the last 20 years.
Like Tolkien is gonna come back from the dead and be like: "Gurrrllll new khand lore just dropped".

Having OCs is all well and good - until you’re nineteen pages deep in the Westeros wiki and you’re realizing you’re gonna have to basically create a whole society from scratch because GRRM gives them the bare minimum in canon

The way Blackreach is laid out contributed a lot to the panopticon-esque level of surveillance that goes down there. The Handlers enforce the laws, but it's rare that they have to look very hard for evidence or testimonial from third parties. This is doubly true in cases where someone is accused of aedra/daedra worship.
The council does not play at all and even topside-typical scholarly research into Daedrology/conjuration is enough to secure an execution order. There's few people who are permitted to learn, teach, or use conjuration spells in Blackreach, those rare cases come with a lot of strings attached.

Yi Tish Dragon Legacy: Genealogy
   by Shella Longclaw
Chrysaor is considered the first dragon to visit Yi Ti. This golden dragon is not considered the first Yi Tish dragon. This honor goes to Rei Llam, who was initially named Llam Rei when it was falsely assumed to be a boy. Rei Llam referred to as the “Empress of the Sky” is the legendary dragon of Emperor Chai Zi. She was a beautiful green and yellow dragon with red highlights. The multiple colors would become a trait of Yi Tish dragons along with typically slender bodies.
Her mate was a dragon called Sunstar who was rider had been the eldest daughter of the Dragon Emperor. She acquired the dragon during the wedding of her sister Princess Priti Chai. Sunstar was an orange red dragon with yellow highlights and bulkier than his mate. The dragon pair would have sixteen dragon offspring. The most famous child was dragon Qi Lin.
It had a white silver body with black spikes. He was donned the “Crescent Warrior.” Qi Lin was a fierce dragon and a veteran of a dozen battles. The dragonrider was the famous Emperor Chai Nui. His mate was Faxi “the Golden Mane Lady.”
Prince Chai Zard had the second and founding dragon named Bia Nor the “Lord of Clouds.” His mate was Grani, Prince Zard’s daughter’s dragon.  Bia Nor and Grani sired an impressive twelve dragon offspring.  One of them would be Tul Par “Lightning Brother” and Mori Bia “Thunder Maiden.” The sibling dragons eventually acquired their own mates.
Mori Bia mated the Valyrian male dragon Fafnyr. Chai Pyr was the first dragonrider to Tul Par. His wife Laelya Lysander’s dragon Zafyre mated with his own. Songs were told about the sweet dragon lovers.  Not all dragons had known mated pairs.
Kani Ma was referred to as the “Harlot Dragon,” since she laid eggs, but no one knew who her mate was. Scholars say that she must have flown to Valyria and mated there. No one concluded the same for Yn the “Eunuch Dragon.” They simply reasoned that he never mated, though he too flown away from Yi Ti about every five years. It’s likely he visited his own mate in Valyria.
This is interesting. A dragon will depart for mating and return. I wonder what part dragonriders play in this, or is it simple dragon temperament? Were Silverwing and Vermithor close because of their riders’ relationship or their own? Sadly, the Yi Tish records were vague on many details. Particularly, the unknown dragon called Ixion “the Monster.” Why was this Valyrian dragon with presuming Yi Tish dragonriders be called the Monster?
I don’t know for now, but I will continued to research the matter as well as all dragon matters.
