A throwback and build up to the present day, to which I have finished painting the part five poster. This has been four years in the making…mainly due to the fact that I needed the inspiration to hit. Although I don’t draw as much Jojo as I used to, I still love the series dearly. And research for these posters has been a lot of childhood nostalgia from old gothic novels to Drew Struzan styles movie posters.

And so for part 6 it will likely take me a long time lol…who knows. But it’ll be a lot of fun to paint!

I need to admit something to the US Tumblrinas. Philadelphia isn't a place to me. It's a cream cheese. You say "philadelphia" or "philly" and I immediately, and exclusively, think of the cream cheese. "Twelve people die in Philadelphia disaster" wow that must've been a Molasses Flood style event

Sometimes I see people blaming Bruce Wayne for things other people have done because of the way he has effected them or because he did x thing or didn't do y thing, and not just in a way like "he's not completely blameless and it's complicated" but in a "the person who did the thing would be completely innocent if they weren't fucked up by Bruce and Bruce is entirely the guilty party" way and have the incredible urge to ask them if they are actually, in fact, Bruce Wayne.

I dunno, sounds like something Bruce Wayne would say.

The reason they go bankrupt wasn't poor money management or anything. They went bankrupt bc the guy who took over DI while Jack was in a coma embezzled all their money. Also they are next door to the Waynes, which is OLD old money, so we know at least their neighbors are old money.
