On 9the May, we finally broke free from the shackles that held us prisoner for almost a decade - the government used fear and repressive laws to stop any form of opposition or voice of reason from the people. . But enough is enough. . On 9th May, we made our voices heard through our votes - despite the ballots cheating, intentional ballots sabotage and attempted results manipulation, we prevailed through sheer willpower and of course most importantly, through our votes. . It was a terribly anxious, and mentally & physically exhausting wait for the results to be verified and acknowledged, but it was worth it. We finally rid the country of a kleptocratic government that is bleeding the country dry. . Welcome back, my country. We have missed you so. Happy Halloween everyone! With this, Inktober 2017 has officially come to an end! . Note: This is my very first Inktober. Wanted to try last year, but was too much of a coward to attempt it but I made a resolution to join this year and post every day. 😂 luckily I met this self imposed target. . It has been a great experience - I've met and made new friends, gained precious knowledge, advice, feedback and experience. I've been greatly inspired by the many artists out there, and that's what kept me going! . Thank you very much to everyone, and I hope to continue doodling after this.
