HelloWhat are your theories or speculations regarding the EATM2 trailer, about Alicia, Rizvan's meeting with Ali, and Satria?
Hello :v
So far, I have not a lot of speculations going on, other than Neonimus might be the big villain this time around.
Alicia has IRIS now and I like how it switches to yellow instead of red. This one is likely just a stylistic choice, but if you squint, you can think of it as IRIS not being under Aliya's influence anymore. When Ali first got IRIS, it was red despite him not being a designated Tekno agent at all. Either IRIS recognized him as Aliya's son, ir the red color was due to IRIS still containing Aliya's data inside.
Ejen Ali might get a bit more political too. The new characters you see in the trailer with Dayang and Ganz? Those could be new pillar leaders or leaders from the other MATA branches, the ones Kim, Sam, Rizka, and Aleks came from.
Rizwan meeting Ali? This could either be a heartful reunion or an emotional all out fight. Could be both. I want both
As usual, Ali is gonna be the key player in this... Or should I say key played? Like I said, it might get political. He's a pawn in the grand scheme, put to the frontline to test MATA's newest technology. Time will tell
Selamat hari raya :v

Remember when I posted about how if Alicia died in S1E7 all hells would break lose? Well...
Here's [Part 1] of Coward's Sanctuary
Summary:
His teammate died, he retrieved the Azurium, Rizwan was better left unsaid, and everyone else despite trying their best was of no help to keep him in one piece.
In a world where Ali obeyed his order, he was left alone to deal with the aftermath.
i.
"Initiate Protocol Gegas."
That was the order Rizwan gave him through the comm. To abandon Alicia. To leave her to die while the Azureum reactors incinerated her body to ashes.
Alicia's wide eyes landed on him, shock and fear replacing the constantly cocky expression he'd come to know her for.
There was no word exchanged between them, the split second too short for any meaningful exchange. But her resignation came just as quickly.
While Ali had only begun to unfreeze from his shock, Alicia breathed in and closed her eyes.
There was no last word, no final quip directed at him. Somehow, only silence echoed among the whirring of the reactors, activating and aiming themselves in her direction.
With half of his body still stuck behind the railing, IRIS informed him of the three seconds he had left to save her in time if he used his enhanced boots. But a slight misstep would also lead to his own death alongside hers.
In another world, perhaps a braver Ali would have leaped in and grabbed her, rescued her like a friend they had never been, because that was the right thing to do. But in this world, Ali was a coward who couldn't even look at his friend as she breathed her last.
Alicia's death was unceremonious, simply ending in barely a scream and that too was cut short, all the while Ali ran in the opposite direction with tears streaming down his face, a constricting feeling twisting and turning inside his chest.
Anger at his own cowardice.
Sadness at his own incompetence.
Relief at living yet to see another day.
Guilt at his own selfishness.
Multiple emotions struck at once. And where Dos stood, in mere seconds, he'd dashed over to her as if his body had its own mind.
Override Mode, that was the phrase blinking over IRIS's now blurred screen.
He was out before he knew it.
When Ali woke up at the safehouse, he was given a summary of their successful mission:
Ali in his newly discovered Override Mode retrieved Azurium.
The mission was a success.
Dos was detained and was now in interrogation.
The mission was a success.
They lost a teammate.
The mission was a success.
Dissociation was not a word Ali was familiar with, but it was thrown a lot while the other agents talked over him, some familiar and some new.
A man called Karya was looking down at him, his voice gentle with a melodic tune to it. Another called Leon was less graceful in his approach, but he left a gentle but firm squeeze on Ali's shoulder after repeating Agent Karya's words, only in fewer words.
There was a woman, Geetha, who simply gave him a piece of chocolate before leaving to join the rest of the agents.
Uncle Bakar hugged him tightly while Ali rubbed the chocolate between his fingers, watching it slowly melt from his body's heat. Comot remained silent at his feet.
"Alicia's dead, huh." Ali hummed to which Uncle Bakar hugged him tighter.
"Mrow..." Comot nuzzled his feet.
It was only when he returned to the safe confines of his room, when nobody else could disturb him under his blanket, that everything finally dawned on him.
Alicia was dead.
All because of him.
With Comot snuggled deep into his chest, he weeped.
ii.
Alicia's funeral was somber. Or so he heard through the phone.
With nothing but ash remaining, she was promptly buried with no further cremation. Not that those outside the agency needed to know the detail. Her uncles were the one who took care of everything, while her dad was nowhere to be found per Uncle Bakar's words.
Being a general for MATA was tough. Couldn't even attend his own daughter's funeral. Or maybe he was grieving in his bed too, like Ali was doing right now.
Ali hadn't announced his desire to be left alone, but everyone understood, so now only Comot remained at his side. Communications were either done through texts or between the barrier that was his room door whenever dad brought him food.
"Mrow?"
"I'm not okay, if that's what you're asking."
Comot whimpered, her ears deflating.
When Ali thought he could get some more shut eye, a knock on the door reminded him that he forgot to lock it, evident from the person on the other side shamelessly barging in.
Not that Ali had the energy to care.
"Ali, the General wants to see you," Agent Karya said, not even explaining how he got into the house in the first place. "We'll be downstairs waiting for you."
After deliberating whether he should obey or chance his early demise, he decided he needed a different scenery that was more than just the white of his ceiling.
Agent Rama was stoic, emotionless upon the knowledge that his beloved daughter perished under his watch. With that unemotional state as well he invited Ali to sit on the couch, while the man himself stood in front of the television.
There were several scenarios Ali had drawn inside his head, about why the General would even bother seeing him in person, Agent Karya standing watch like they were a pair of an interrogator and a prisoner. He expected accusations, he prepared himself against the onslaught of unbridled fatherly rage… yet they never came. What came instead was a calm directive, an order like any other. Someone would be put behind bars, and it was not him.
“Ali, I want your testimony against Agent Rizwan.”
iii.
Protocol Gegas was a taboo, an order unspeakable even in the most dire circumstances. It had been so for the last five years… until it was spoken again by the man standing beside him, bounded by cuffs made of metal and others of shame and guilt.
“Ali Ghazali, you stand before us today to give testimony against Rizwan Malek for his contribution to the death of a fellow junior agent.” Pillar Leader Zain spoke from behind the blackened screen. “Did he, or did he not, order you to initiate Protocol Gegas?”
“He did.” Ali stood tall, crossed hands behind his back to hide his fumbling fingers.
“Are you, or are you not, aware of the implication behind the order?” Pillar Leader Dayang.
“I was previously made aware of it by Junior Agent Alicia and Agent Bakar,” he answered, not too quick, but not too slow, just like he’d rehearsed.
“And you followed your order obediently, leaving your teammate to die?” Pillar Leader Ganz.
“Indecision is a decision. By the time I got over my shock, it was too late.”
“Agent Rizwan, what do you have to say against the accusations?” Pillar Leader Zain spoke again.
“Five years ago, the three of you allowed the same tragedy in the name of Cyberaya’s wellbeing. Agent Djin is no longer with us today,” he defended himself, tone defiant and deflecting the blame onto their judges.
There was a low growl coming from Agent Ganz’s screen, but Agent Dayang addressed Agent Rizwan first.
“And what makes you think what happened back then was comparable to the transgression you committed, all for an insignificant jar of Azurium?”
Agent Rizwan’s lips tightened, unable to rebut her words. Agent Ganz picked up where she left off.
“Rizwan Maliq. Today, you are hereby stripped of your Agent status. You are to be incarcerated as a criminal, never to step foot again beyond your jail cell. Dismissed.”
Ali didn’t look at the man’s face, too shaken to even walk steadily on the platform that led to the exit. A pair of robot guards standing watch by the doorway went inside to drag Agent Rizwan to his new home. Uncle Bakar took Ali to his, where he could forget the aches and hide his tears under his blanket.
iv.
Ali exchanged the hell that was MATA to the torture that was school. Eyes stared, mouths hushed, ears listened. Wherever he went, Alicia’s ghost haunted him as his classmates spoke of the buried dead and the dead that barely functioned beyond nodding and shaking his head.
A student’s death raised a stir among the school population, all sympathising a car crash victim and its survivor, yet all ignorant of the real truth that it had all been nothing but murder. Ali was a murderer, blood in his hands that he used to write in his notebook.
Viktor’s gentle hand almost never left his, ready to squeeze him assurance whenever his breath so much as picked up at a trigger; Alicia’s desk, Alicia’s empty seat, Alicia’s non-existence at this school because he had been a coward who only cared about himself.
At some point, he barely registered the changing scenery, going from his classroom to the infirmary where he let himself sob onto his best friend’s shoulder.
His dad was called, the press was called, slurs were called against the paparazzis invading the school for a scoop of a Cyberaya’s Helm’s traumatised son.
Ali took one day off from school. One day became two. Two became several, and several became homeschool. He absentmindedly absorbed the lessons coming his way, never raising a voice nor head as he wrote his notes. His no-name teacher cared more for money than offending him to ever question whether he was paying attention in class. It was the silent rule they agreed upon, and both of them were happy with the arrangement.
Comot stayed by his side, claiming his lap with each day that droned on and on. At nights, she climbed on his chest and sang her purrs to drive away the phantoms lingered along the edges of the room.
“Do you think I did the right thing?”
Comot didn’t answer.
“If I’d jumped in to save her, we’d have died together.”
Comot didn’t answer again.
“I’ve always wanted the attention, you know. To be loved, to be touched. Dad always used to care more about his work, but now he’s here for me every time I need him. Viktor too. You too… But it still hurts.”
Comot never replied, because a cat could never understand that a useless coward had survived while a girl with a bright future had not. That her owner deserved none of that love, none of the affection everyone was showering him with. Because he was worth nothing, not against Alicia.
“I wish I’d died instead.”
“...Mrow…” Comot snuggled on his chest.
v.
Rizwan had escaped, Dos disappearing along with him.
Agent Jenny had gone missing too.
IRIS was under MATA’s surveillance, never leaving the agency until it was thrown into his hand by a disgruntled General Rama.
“My dad can file you for trespassing,” Ali threatened the man who drank from Ali’s favourite Detective Jebat cup.
“And you won’t?” The General glared at him while also sipping every last drop of his tea.
“I don’t want to deal with people.”
“So do I, but it’s my job.”
When it got through his thick Bollywood skull that Ali wasn’t going to entertain him, he continued.
“Jenny helped Rizwan and Dos escape.”
“So?” Ali raised an unimpressed brow. “I’m not an agent anymore. I quit.”
“You’re not safe here.”
“And MATA’s safe how? Last I checked you have two defectors that poofed under your nose. Who’s to say there aren’t more?”
“Who’s to say people working for your father aren’t infiltrated either?”
Ali faltered.
“Th-they wouldn’t.”
“They will. They’ll do everything they can to get IRIS and unsync it from you. You, your loved ones, no one around you is safe.”
“...unless I’m trained,” Ali finished, shoulders sagging. “So here I am again huh, being your property you can flaunt around to bait your enemies.”
“Your answer is?” The general set down his tea and showed the first real emotion since he barged into the house uninvited. He looked hesitant, not wanting to force him to say yes or no. But neither of them made the decisions, the higher-ups did.
“...I’ll do it. I’ll be your bait. As long as you can promise to keep my dad safe. Keep Viktor and his family safe.”
“It will be done.”
Ali crumpled against the couch when the man finally left. Comot came to his side, offering comfort as she rubbed against his leg. He laughed, however mirthless it was.

Do you think Comot has a longer lifespan now?
I mean, she was genetically modified, and we all know Wau wouldn't kill of Comot cause she got too old or anything like that.
Here's a chart I shamelessly stole from a cat website:
Tumblr media
For simplicity, let's assume Comot is somehwere in the range of junior cat age. Let's say... 1.5 years old. And Ali is currently 12.
In 4.5 years, Comot will be 6 years old while Ali is a 16 years old highschool student. If 10 years after that nothing terrible happened, Comot would live on to be a healthy old cat while Ali is already a 26 years old adult.
And then she'll die.
IF the genetic modification didn't leave anything that'd cause her to grow slower, thus allowing her to live longer.
Though to be fair the Ejen Ali series would have probably concluded by then and Comot might appear in the epilogue as an old but still very much alive cat.
Thoughts?

Ali and Alicia are gonna be so overkill if they participate in any sports at their school. They've trained their stamina and endurance as agents that school sports would just be a breeze.
Merentas desa (somebody give me the English name for this): First and second place. The third place is maybe 10 minutes behind.
Long jump: These two would line up again and again to see who can one up over the other.
Tug-o-war: ...okay admittedly these two are twigs in clothes and won't be able to win without their teammates' help.
Coconut bowling: They'd not just knock off all their bottle-pins, but also everyone else's
What other school sports did I miss?

Ejen Ali movie 2 is taking too long, here are my irrelevant headcanons:
Ali can cook:
I know he's rich and all, but everyone would get tired of delivery food once in a while. With his dad working late, I can just imagine Ali cooking stuff as a hobby. Like, he made his mom's Tart Nenas Landak without breaking a sweat! He must have some experience at least.
Viktor is Ali's childhood friend
Kinda sounds obvious, but if you think about how Ali has no other friend before meeting the other junior agents, it makes you wonder why Viktor sticks around.
Viktor must have been friend with Ali for long enough for them to have such a strong friendship. You know what Ali was like in season 1, right? Obnoxious, undisciplined, and overall not very pleasant to be around for an extended period of time. A true problem child.
Yet Viktor stays by his side, probably because he knows what Ali used to be like when they were younger, likely around the time Aliya died and Ali and his dad's relationship became dysfunctional.
IRIS actually makes Ali smart
I stand by my opinion that season 1 Ali was as stupid as can be lmao. But his extended usage of IRIS must have imprinted something. If you practice drawing, you'll get better at it eventually. Similarly, if Ali kept getting inputs from IRIS, he'd eventually get familiar with some patterns that'll help him with his Zain-level-future-guessing-sharingan skill.
Niki would have adopted Ali if they'd met under better circumstances
Come on. Sure, she hates the people in Cyberaya. Sure, she stillsm feels betrayed by Aliya. BUT, if she knew how neglected Ali is at home, I don't think she'd have kept silent. She's a horrible person, but Ali is a part of Aliya, and Aliya was her best friend whether she liked it or not.
She'd groom him into a terrorist if she got a hand on a younger Ali, no doubt about that. But she'd love him as a son. That's why she got so mad and personal at a literal kid. This girl be petty.
All the adult agents have a second, normal public life when off missions
Rizwan? Bus driver. Geetha? Tuition teacher. Leon? Hand model cause he got them sick moves. You get the idea.

I just want go back to EA brainrot, maybe made au or something . But I don't really remember whats role and purpose each M.A.T.A pillars do.So can you do the explanations please./gen
Brainrot incoming:
MATA pillars are like the typical classes you see in games; tanks, mage, etc. Over the course of Ejen Ali's run, there has been some minor retcons over what each pillar does. As of season 3, these are their roles:
1. Tekno: The support. They use their gadgets to help other team members, either boosting their strength or hold back back enemies. In game terms, they are the buff/debuff/healer support. Other roles they play are hacking, gadget developing, and anything relating to computers ...and also the most likely to defect and betray their factions, I don't know why.
Tumblr media
2. Neuro: The strategist. They use their analytical skills to strategize the next best moves. In game terms they are... You know what, I don't know. They're the leader of any team and their best tool is their brain. They have diverse roles due to the broad nature of their pillars, but what separates them from other pillars is their ingenuity. Jack of all trades you could say. Being natural leaders, they are also good negotiators.
Tumblr media
3. Inviso: The... I should have thought this through before deciding on making a post about game references. The thief? Ionno. But anyway, they disguise themselves to ambush enemy ranks. They work in the shadow and are the most similar to spies than any other pillar. In game terms, they are the sub-dps dishing extra damage for your team. They don't play much roles than espionage... and also the second likeliest to defect. You'd think they'd be first but eh.
Tumblr media
4. Kombat: The aggro tank. They use their strength to engage enemies and pull them into combat while their teammates complete their mission's targets. In game terms they are the tank support, but they are also oftentimes the main dps. They are masters of martial arts and anything relating to combat. Offense is the best defense, and they are the best at both.

Ejen Ali's totally serious and not crack summary:
A boy with zero braincell meets a girl with zero EQ and they switched each other's brain until they rubbed onto each other. So now the boy has one (1) functioning braincell and the girl can express at least one (1) more emotion other than anger

The Protokol Gegas episode is kinda important not gonna lie
S1E7 Protokol Gegas is arguably one of the best Ejen Ali episodes where the first major turn in the series takes place. But now I wonder, what if Alicia hadn't been so lucky. What if Ali had just been a bit more of a coward or wasn't fast enough to grab her in time.
What if... Alicia died?
You ever wondered what would have happened? Well, me too. And it's messy.
So, the base assumption is Ali failed to save Alicia for one reason or another.
The immediate consequence is obvious, in that Alicia dies and Ali gets ptsd and survivor's guilt.
The not so immediate consequence however is also obvious... but at the same time may cause unseen butterfly effects.
The major, major one is the Protokol Gegas itself, which nobody has initiated before ever since the Pillar Leaders left Djin/Uno to die five years ago.
Now, the big questions:
Who gave the order: Rizwan
Why: To stop a potential threat to Cyberaya
How: By retrieving Azureum
Victim: Alicia
Now, assuming they did get the Azureum back, assuming they did succeed the mission, Alicia dying has big consequences because of two simple facts:
She wasn't an official agent (plus she was also a kid, but eh, child soldiers and all that)
This was the first time Protokol Gegas was initiated after five years
You think they're just gonna have a funeral and move on? No no no, not a chance. The likelier thing to happen is Rizwan will be put on trial. You don't simply invoke the forbidden words and expect get away scot-free you know. Rizwan ordered Ali to initiate to Protokol Gegas, and since Alicia died in this scenario, he will have to prove why it was necessary for him to sacrifice a team member like that.
Ali and Bakar (and maybe Dos if they detained her) will have to testify as witnesses as they were there during the incident. The judges will be the Pillar leaders themselves while Rizwan will have to be his own lawyer. Perhaps some other agents will defend his case but unless they can give satisfactory answers as to why leaving a teammate was necessary, Rizwan may be put on probation, or worse, be stripped of his agent status.
After that... honestly it's just up to imagination after this point. And I haven't imagined enough to say what can happen.
But that's just my interpretation. What do you think would have happened if the episode didn't go as it did in canon?
