Hey everyone! Newest monster hunter remake here – Great Maccao! Never actually fought the guy; but did my best on capturing his vibes in a more modern style. Done as commission for TheOneAndOnlyDarto.

This was a complete ground up rebuild of the model; with a new high poly sculpt (around 19 million tris in total) and a new painted set of 4k textures. Model is rigged and will be available as a 3D print at some point down the line.

And yes; before everyone asks me about the obvious thing they might imagine it being used for – a replacement mod for the Seikret is already in progress (thank you very much to PB472 for implementation there) and will be available eventually; though its still in barely in beta and will come out when its done.
