I went on The Velocicoaster once and I never stopped thinking about it. Legitimately the highlight of the latter half of my life.

I went on a bumpy bus trip recently and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I don’t care about the sights of vacation that much, I am not easily impressed visually (unless there’s heights, I love heights).

I am at one of the “prettiest places in the world” and it’s fine.

I had so much fun having my stomach scanned for gastroparesis because they put you in a little machine that scoots around while it scans you. I went on a mine tour and I didn’t care about the tour at all I just liked riding around in the mine carts. After I got drugged for surgery I very much enjoyed being wheeled to the operation room. I love plane rides and turbulence.

Amusement parks fix me. I temporarily stop getting sensory overload whenever I’m at an amusement park. It baffles me.

I love speed. I love acceleration. I love bumps. I love wind. I love feeling my body press against the seatbelt as my weight shifts.

It’s calming. I find it hard to say I’m an adrenaline junkie because I feel no thrill, just relief. I do not scream. I do not gasp. I feel no rush in my chest.

That’s why I think it’s an autism thing. Allistic people don’t usually go on rollercoasters to calm down or regulate themselves, nor do I think they crave it as much as I do.

This is a fanfiction I think about a lot. I didn’t make it or anything, I just really appreciate it. I’m surprised it didn’t come out in like 2010.

Last night in my dream I was chilling at this.. movie theater lobby? And I was behind the register (didn’t work there), and there was word that something dangerous was happening.

And apparently the register was like, a desk? With leg space under it.

So I hid under it, because, obviously.

And then The Riddler came strollin in. He was yapping about something I don’t remember.

And he was wandering about like a horror antagonist looking for?? Victims? Potential hostages?

He found my hiding spot almost immediately. I wasn’t even that scared I was just: 👋🧑‍🦲

This entire time he did not stop monologuing. He was like: “See? This is what I mean. This hiding place is shit. You didn’t even-“ and he just kept on yapping at me I didn’t even have to say or do anything. I just tuned him out.

Anyways this is a huge advancement in my dream realism because usually any fictional characters that show up in my dreams have the intelligence of a gmod NPC.

I mean this in the most literal way possible. I think back on dreams and they just stand there doing absolutely nothing and I’m interacting with them as if it’s normal.

So I’m happy my subconscious gained the confidence to character roleplay a bit.
