I think the person that posted this is misinformed about white people or Americans being okay with surveillance that comes for white corporations and from our own government. That's a ridiculous assumption to make and stereotyping based on your assumption.
I am not okay with being spied on by anyone....ever no matter who it is. So you know what I do if I hear stuff about corporate surveillance on social media platforms....I STOP VISITING THAT WEBSITE! If you dont like something about a way a private organization operates thier business then dont use thier services. It's a simple as that. Social media is not a basic need for survival, you dont HAVE use them, it's your choice. So please dont make outlandish accusations about Americans and white people in general because you dont like something about the way a corporation operates thier business...that has nothin to do with the general population. Maybe you would be a bit better off if you spent some time studying up on how business in America operates rather than complaining about social media websites that you probably continue to visit on the daily.
i’m angry right now. recently there has been some hubbub about how tiktok has some surveillance stuff built into it. personally i’ve been living with a case of mild justified paranoia for several years now because this sort of thing has been completely normalised in “the west”. but if i tell people “hey this sort of thing is already built into facebook, youtube, snapchat, etc.” it comes across as me thinking people should accept it. i’m not! it’s an active detriment to my mental health, i want it gone!
but evidently, to a lot of people it only matters if it’s foreign. you don’t care if your own state spies on you, you don’t care if corporations spy on you as long as the upper management is white and their head office is in the united states. it only bothers you when it’s chinese and it’s hard to say that this is anything but xenophobic. you think your own state actually serves you rather than being the foremost tool of keeping you bound. you’re wrong. this is revolting regardless of where it’s coming from, get with the fucking program or be a tool of your own subjugation.

A few flowers I have in my garden. The poppy and purple cone flower took 2 years to produce flowers. I started the seeds indoors along with some Zinnias, and Amarynth. The labels got mixed up at some point, so I wasnt really 100% sure what the starts were when I planted them. I definitely would have chosen a different spot for the cone flower if I had known. Its huge. Its taller than me. I love it though. ♥️♥️

I planted a few bulbs a couple years ago and then last year one of the Blue Sea Holly plants finally appeared. This year it has decided to bloom. It's always buzzing with bees, several different species all at the same time.

Bees, butterflies and flowers and trees, these are the some of the things that mean the most to me.

I was late putting out my cacoons this year and they ended up getting set by the sliding glass door to the backyard....I won't do that again...a steady stream of bees coming toward you as you walk outside. Thank goodness mason bees are not aggressive, so no stings. One of the many awesome traits of solitary bees.

If you live in the Pacific NW I just want to remind you it's time to take your Mason Bee tubes into the garage or shed until you harvest in the fall. Around June 1st the coockoo bees are searching for nesting tubes to infiltrate and lay thier eggs, which then will eat and kill unhatchedMason bees.

Little ground nesting bees I saw in my garden..I was breaking up some dirt clods a couple days ago and a similar bee appeared from inside the dirt clod. He was alive...he flew away. Weird.

My Mason bee tubes this year. Pretty much most of them have been used for nests and now capped with mud. It's so crazy that they will emerge next year as fully formed adults and the cycle will start again.
