first post here!! hi :-) the new gasa4 content made me so excited i felt physically ill bro... i love these silly guys so much

i havent posted anything in so long oh my god..

have some designs i drew for the majority of the gasa4 + todds breakfast adventure characters

i remembered i have free will and can draw whatever i want so heres little drawings in a completely different style than what i usually do

art tips for improving your style because these are some of the things that really worked for me, because a post on youtube inspired me to write this out:

- take a break from the medium you're doing. if you're drawing digitally try to draw a bunch of doodles traditional for a few days. or even a week. or weeks. just take a little break.

- copy other's techniques or art styles by watching speedpaints, tutorials, etc. to gain more variety/flexibility in stroke, technique, and overall style

- "loosen up" your style with super quick drawings, then "tighten it back up" by practicing refining those super loose sketches. look at gesture drawing exercises for examples of "loose" drawings

- if practicing shading/coloring/form/structure whatever, basically thinking in 3d and simplifying styles, try using a super big brush in digital, or even painting with a big blocky brush in traditional. it forces you to shade in large areas over going right in with the smaller details, which can help improve 3d thinking and overall balance/proportions really well

- do warmups!! just drawing cubes from different angles, or rectangular prisms, or big blobs with grid lines to define form can be very helpful in actually seeing how well you can draw. seriously—once you've figured out a warmup that works for you, the difference between pre- and post-warmup is night and day.

so uhh i'm going to be slowly putting my random youtube posts on here because i realize this is a better way to archive my things into categories than youtube. the literal video thing. like yes i plan on making videos it's just that i draw still images a lot more lmao
