Time to Move On—What’s Next?
You ever feel like you're in the right place for a while, but then things start to feel off? That's kind of where I am with Tumblr. It’s been great—plenty of fun, creativity, and entertainment—but now I’m ready to focus on something more specific: building websites and sharing what I’ve learned.
So, what’s the plan? I’m moving my blog over to dev.to, where I’ll dive into WordPress website creation and more hands-on tech stuff. Why the change? Well, Tumblr’s vibe is awesome, but it’s not exactly the best fit for the type of content I want to focus on now.
Does this mean I’m leaving everything behind? Not really. I’m just moving to a space where I can put more attention on things that matter most to me right now. It’s time to streamline and get back to basics.
Why should you care? If you’ve been following my blog for tech insights, tips, and updates, you’ll get even more value from what I’ll be posting on my dev.to blog. It’s all about cutting the fluff and getting straight to what works. I’ll be sharing practical guides, tools, and everything else that can help you get things done.
So, if you’ve been enjoying my posts here, I’d love for you to follow me over there. Let’s keep things simple, useful, and real—no distractions.
Thanks for all the support, and I’m excited to keep things going, just in a new spot! PS: ill probably repost my blog posts from dev.to on this tumblr page. so keep a look out on that.

My First Project: OSoptimizers.com
Ever wondered what it feels like to finally see your website come to life? I certainly did, and after countless hours of work, it's here: OSoptimizers.com
This is where I’ll be diving deep into WordPress theme modifications, sharing some nifty HTML code tricks, and showing you how to make your site exactly how you envision it.
Now, I know what you might be thinking, “Why go through all the trouble of tweaking WordPress themes when there are thousands of them available?” The answer is simple: personalization. You can pick the perfect theme, but there's always that itch to make it truly yours. Maybe it’s changing the color of a button, or adjusting the layout to better suit your content. These little tweaks can make a world of difference.
The Power of Small Changes
One of the first things I tackled was the header. Have you ever visited a site and thought, “This header is too bulky,” or “The font size here just doesn’t fit”? I’ve been there, and with a few lines of HTML and CSS, you can change that. Here’s a snippet of code I used to adjust the header size and font in one of the WordPress themes:
<style> .header { font-size: 20px; padding: 10px; } </style>
This simple adjustment made the header cleaner and more readable, aligning better with the overall design. It’s these kinds of tweaks that I'll be sharing in my blog posts.
Why HTML?
You might be wondering why I’m focusing on HTML when WordPress is known for its drag-and-drop simplicity. The truth is, while those tools are fantastic, they don’t always offer the precision that HTML and CSS provide. When you need something specific, like aligning text just right or creating a custom button, knowing a bit of HTML can be incredibly handy.
Get the Tools You Need
If you’re thinking about following along, you’ll need a good text editor and a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. I recommend starting with Visual Studio Code for editing your files. It’s free and incredibly user-friendly.
Final Thoughts
Building a website is an ongoing process. There will always be something new to learn, a fresh idea to implement, or a problem to solve. That’s what makes it exciting! So, what’s next for you? Ready to start tweaking your own WordPress theme?
Stay tuned for more tips, tricks, and code snippets that will help you get the most out of your website. Whether you’re a seasoned developer or just starting out, there’s always room to make things a little better, a little more you.
Feel free to drop your questions or share your own experiences in the comments—let’s learn and grow together!
PS: As usual for every website we make, we must include a Twitter profile. Follow it to see what I'm doing over there.
