she’s not the only one. thankfully, neal is already in bed. they were hanging out in his room - no one else is in the house and it was the closest option after the exchange. crossing his ankles with hands behind his head, eyes are closed as he attempts to block everything out. too much going on in his mind, not enough silence to cover it up. so, he focuses on her voice instead.
