Twilight Sparkle x Mordecai

I like it more for meta reasons than the actual ship itself. Taking someone's obscure crossover ship and blasting it into the public conscious enough that it has it's own little fandom even? That's pretty cool honestly. I'll admit I haven't fully watched through all of regular show yet even If I sortof know what happens at the end, so I don't have very many deep thoughts to share here, but I'd hope that Twilight would probably help straighten that guy out a bit, I'm not sure how much she'd would get out of the relationship though.

Entrapta & Hordak, from She-Ra?

I dont think I ever felt myself shipping it really. The characters do love/admire each other a lot but nothing felt all too romantic to me but the two of them still built up something pretty fun in the show so its mostly just inoffensive.

Tysuki?

a very acrobatic duo! I don't consider them very often so I don't really have a lot of thoughts about them from the top of my head. I think they would vibe with each other well enough and there is some fun in the hippie & warrior dynamic of them. Ty Lee ships always have the potential of a healing journey when coming after her leaving the more toxic dynamic of her relationship with Azula and Suki would be such a contrast for her, a powerful, commanding leader that has no need to rule through fear or intimidation. They got some potential!

Once again, i got the "green, mean girlie = lesbian" thought on my mind forever. Aside from that, though, I dont dont see anything in particular from their dynamic that I can't get from other Toph or Zuko ships that I vibe A LOT more with. Narratively, I draw so many similarities between Toph and Azula that it feels more appropriate to explore zuko's relationship to toph as a direct contrast to his relationship to his actual little sister in a "this is how it could be" type of way. At least thats the way I like to frame them myself.

Catch me in my tophzula aus where they're sibling in-laws though.

Okay okay real question, how do you feel about Twijack?

I dont think you're ready to hear my entirely honest opinions on snakebites but you can try and ask if you're brave enough. 🫣

Twijack. Theyre both the team moms honestly, it makes sense to me- nothing in the friend group gets done without at least one of them intervening. Twijack seems like one of the more relaxed of the mane six pairs, both would bring a level head to a situation where the other might freak out over. Its charming!

Sonjet is just plain fun. None of the heavy trauma and angst of other sonic rival ships but all the antagonizing and trash talk. Sometimes, I do just love the simplicity of them. It might be in my personal top three ships for Sonic? Maybe?

As for Sonic and Knuckles. Hmmmm. I have nothing against it, it kinda depends on the universe and context but I could totally see it... Still, it doesn't really pop out with anything particularly interesting to me either. Knuckles really kinda gravitates into being everyone's older brother to me i guess. (Aside from Rouge and Shadow.)

Spike x Rarity

Its a NAHHH from me there.

Even outside the questionable age gap, im not usually a fan of one character obviously fawning over another that seems entirely uninterested in returning the feeling. I feel bad for everyone involved in that. Whether its Spike, Amy or Aang doing it i check out after 3 episodes of the same schtick. It's not impossible but it is VERY hard to keep me invested in relationships like that. Gimme GROWTH gimme DEVELOPMENT gimmie some damn closure!

Dynamics like that only feel satisfying to me when they end like how Dipper / Wendy did in Gravity Falls and I prefer to see Spike and Rarity as similar to that.

Man, that Spike/Gabby episode really came and saved me from my suffering. Thank you, talkative griffin mail carrier girl. I owe you my life.

Ship Thoughts: Yuezula

Water Princess and Fire Princess. I like them a lot. Might be my second favorite azula ship and my top yue ship. They feel like the setup of some fairytale and im always happy to see the ship pop up.

Yue always carries some sense of tragedy about her and depending on whether you have them meet before or after she becomes a spirit, there's a lot of ways you could theoretically take their relationship and I love seeing how people decide to frame them.

Theyre about as opposite of each other as you can get in the show, in both their personalities and their histories. I dont expect they'd find much common ground outside of sharing some struggle over familial expectations- though azula would not openly admit that. One thing with azula ships is that girls biggest relationship hurdle is her need to control/manipulate and how that gets handled by the other person. I don't think Yue would be easily intimated by her being a bit older and very empathetic, but its not clear if she'd be able to fully stand her ground against azula at her most calculating either or how willing azula might be to change for Yue either.

Overall, its fun to theorize about them.

Sonic x Surge

I see it! Its got a lot of that same antagonizing/rival appeal that son//adow has but Surge is hopped up on ten packs of monster energy drinks while shad is cool and stoic. Though i'd see sonurge as being a lot more combative with each other in their day to day. With time, they could definitely work out but its a lot of personal issues they have to work through and a lot of dysfunction.

I'd probably ship it myself if my own headcanon wasnt to make Surge a lesbian. (Sorry guys, evil, green ladies are always lesbian to me.) On top of which, I always have problems committing Sonic to any ship really.

my very very FIRST OC? Wow, what a deep dive.

It would've been way back from when I was in elementary school but I specifically remember having one fox inspired by Kyubimon's design from Digimon. it was a giant yellow fox with a featureless steel mask. Totally forget if I ever named it. I likely still have the drawing of it but afraid I can't share it right now since it's stashed in a different house but I'll share it here whenever I go visit next.

What's Twisty's relationship with his uncle Sonic or aunt Surge?

Twisty hasn't spent too much time with either of them as of yet.

Sonic in my future au is allergic to the idea of parental responsibility and has only babsat for Twisty a few times so Twisty is still very shy with Sonic but isn't a complete stranger either and will even speak with him a bit. Surge, while the two still basically consider each other family, she's kinda chosen to keep out of his new family life for her own complicated personal reasons. The few times she has met Twisty, the poor kid got scared and cried and he's always been very intimidated by her.

Hello, one question: What is the relationship between Mars and his brother and the children of Sonic and Blaze?

Mars and (her) brother, and as of right now I only have the one Sonaze kid, Blitz- though I did consider giving them a baby sibling- it doesn't work out for their story sadly. Mars and Piko usually get along with each other but she has a slightly testy relationship with her brother for the same reason she rebels against her dad.

Piko looks up to Shadow, joined GUN so he could work alongside him and shares his powers while Mars always felt left out from that dynamic. Her being powerless and all, Shadow leans on the side of being overprotective of her, not wanting her to fight or be in any danger. Piko tends to follow his dad's lead on things so he kinda oversteps on Mars to try and keep her out trouble. She still cares about them both but she's got this constant desire to prove herself capable and earn respect from both of them even if that means trying to pick fights with Piko- knowing very well that she can't beat him. As for my Sonaze kid, Important thing to remember is that Blitz enters their dimension on some important mission and doesn't have any past history with the Shadamy kids before they form their little trio team. Short version of their dynamic is that Blitz really wants to be the leader but has to struggle commanding over these two very self reliant siblings. Blitz also makes it no secret that they think both of them are hot and would gladly smooch either if they weren't in the middle of an important job.
