And then they can form a strong connection with each other and support the other in rough times. ;_;

Baptiste didn't dare look from his hiding place in the shadows as he heard Akande's voice grow louder. He gritted his teeth through the pain of his injured leg. The now-damaged Exo Boot had likely saved his leg from Akande's crushing grasp, but he couldn't be sure there was no internal bleeding and his regen would light him up like a candle.

"And now the new Overwatch has scooped you up, desperate enough to rely on dregs of Talon. Tell me medic, how do they know you won't run away again?"

Quite the charmer, isn't he? Baptiste quipped mentally. He thought Lena would've at least got a chuckle out of that one. He readied his gun and hoped he could hold off against the most dangerous man on the planet until the rest of the Cavalry showed up.
