Hey, so I saw your post about the Batfam and the Star Sapphire Ring and after looking more into it, since I have only known of the corps, not what they are and this idea is glorious

The hiding, the shenanigans, the chaos, the heartbreak

My question is, if you want this to be a yandere Batfam story or a 'regular' one and if you have anything specific in mind like should it be crack and chaos, or more serious, lots of angst etc...

Because I would be so down to writing that

It all depends on what you’re more comfortable with, though personally I think it’d work even better as a yandere story— I feel like a good amount of both chaos and seriousness, with the batfam slowly realizing that hey, wtf why is reader not going to school as much and disappearing at random times? why isn’t reader fawning over them as much as they were before, they seem more distracted, more focused on something else.. it would be so cool if you decided to make a story out of this!! if u could id definitely love to be on that taglist!! :))

ok this isn’t my usual stuff that i post abt but like ive fallen down the batfam rabbit hole on tumblr so i need u guys to hear me out for a sec:

imagine this— reader is a member of the batfam and isn’t a vigilante, why? they just don’t like fighting, they’re a lover, not a fighter! this, although inadvertently and not on purpose (because i can’t imagine bruce or the others being cruel to reader out of malicious intent, they do love them, they just don’t have time for them) end up neglecting reader emotionally. now writers you can imagine this part, but imagine the entire batfamily does something that absolutely shatters readers heart, leaving them heartbroken. then, BOOM—

they recieve the star sapphire ring and become apart of the star sapphire corps. the catch? they can’t tell ANYONE about their new found power.

idk what the plot would be since im not a very good writer, which is why i NEED someone to write this expeditiously bad!! (sorry if you can tell my lore knowledge is severely lacking, im only recently getting into the DCU and haven’t read like any of the comics yet lmfao)

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people (and writers) confuse kindness for weakness and I noticed that recently it happens a lot when writing female MCs or just any female fictional character.

I will clarify that this is my opinion and this isn’t hate towards your typical rough, strong female character. HOWEVER, I find it to be annoying when people will hate characters like Yui Komori from DBL for being “weak”. Like no, they are strong, they just have a different kind of strength— and that’s okay. Not every female character needs to be rough and reject femininity to be considered strong.

I also noticed this in fan-fiction too, I feel like writers are scared to make their characters soft in fear of being a Mary-Sue or being considered a “pick me”. Then they’ll make said characters hate on the token girl in the piece of media they’re writing for a green-tea bitch and make sure to emphasize the fact that there MC is “different” and “not like the other girls”. I will say it has eased up over the years, and it’s gotten a lot better.

This is a really big problem in the x reader community, specifically I noticed with Diabolik Lovers and My Hero Academia with Ochako Uraraka and Yui. Like no!! While they aren’t perfect and have their own flaws, they would not push you down and make fun of you for not being girly it’s completely out of character.

I will say again, this is not hate towards tomboy female MC’s; I adore a good tomboy girl main character as long as it’s not used as a key point to trash the other female characters in the story.
