Hi, I'm a little confused. You said that the deck is fully readable as a tarot deck, but you don't list 78 cards worth of artists on your carrd. Are the extra cards missing?

Hello! Thanks for the ask!

As noted in an older ask, all Major Arcana Cards (22 cards + 9 extra cards to represent Female Route-exclusive S. Links) and Minor Arcana Court Cards (16 cards, such as the Queen of Cups) feature characters illustrated by different artists. The Numbered Suit Cards (40 cards, such as the Ace of Wands & Ten of Swords) do not feature characters and are being designed by a single artist for consistency. hey, hi! just found out about you guys, so i wanted to ask something i didnt see clarified anywhere (though it might've been and i just couldnt find it, sorry if thats the case!): can the deck actually be used for readings, or are they more a decoration thing? i'd imagine they can, since you guys include 'tarot 101' as one of the bonus downloads, but i'd just like to make sure, esp since im pretty newly into tarot and dont like, know much beyond hearing it's an important distinction to be made!

Hello, this is a really important question, thanks for the ask!

The Arcana (tarot deck) is suitable for readings!

We put in a lot of thought into this project, and having the deck be usable for readings was something we wanted to achieve through including both Major and Minor Arcana.

The Arcana tarot deck contains 31 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. We include more than the standard 22 Major Arcana cards because we wanted to represent the characters exclusive to the Female Protagonist Route in Persona 3 Portable. This leads to two cards in certain Major Arcana.

For example...

"The Fool" Arcana belongs to both the Male Protagonist (Makoto Yuuki) and the Female Protagonist (Kotone Shiomi), so we have a separate card for each protagonist. The "Strength" Arcana is assigned to Yuko Nishiwaki in the Male Route and Koromaru in the Female Route, so we have separate cards for both Yuko and Koromaru.

When you perform a reading, you should exclude one of the extra cards to ensure you only have one of each Major Arcana card.

Here's the full list of assigned cards for reference: https://p3reflect.carrd.co/#contributors Note: all Major Arcana cards and Minor Arcana court cards feature a character; numbered Minor Arcana cards do not feature any characters.

Another distinction to note is that the names for the "XX - Judgement" and "XXI - The World" cards have been changed to "XX - Aeon" and "XXI - Universe" to tie into the alternative names used in Persona 3 specifically. These cards can still be used in readings as long as you understand the meaning behind each card (which are similar to that of "Judgement" and "The World", respectively).

I read somewhere on this blog... dunno which post, that says that things ship out late fall and I know it's early af to ask for when, but I want to pre-order and my only hurdle is that im moving maybe around October... should I place my address as my current or future one when making the order?

UPDATING SHIPPING ADDRESS: Shipping addresses can be updated at any time after initial order is made by emailing p3reflect@gmail.com. Additionally, we will conduct a last call for updating shipping addresses between 2-4 weeks before labels are printed and finalized. Any lost packages due to incorrect addresses after this period may not be accommodated.

We suggest that you place your order with either address and you will be able to update your address to the correct one when we announce a concrete shipping date on socials.

The last call to update your address will be through a Change of Address Form that will be emailed to the email you placed your order with and announced on our socials; so be sure to check both your email and our socials around October/November for the form.

You will have 2-4 weeks to submit your address change once the form has been sent out.
