This actually started as a small project quite ago, I did only one swatch for a friend’s sim and since but I decided to add more swatches to have more diversity and to share with you, hope you like it!

would you ever consider making more variants of your lighting mod? with different colors like yellow or purple or green.

Hi hi 👋

I have been getting quite a few asks of this kind 🙂 It's difficult for me to come by every wish (plus I don't wanna spam) but you can create any colour variants of the lighting yourself, those are just a few simple steps.

Mini Tutorial:

Open the package file with the lighting mod in Sims 4 Studio.

Inside the package file you will find parameters for RimLight0 (creates glow on the right side of the sim) and RimLight1 (creates glow on the left side of the sim).

You can set the colour of each rimlight with an RGB-code (Red,Green,Blue):

(1,0,0) is Red

(0,1,0) is Green

(0,0,1) is Blue

And you can create any colours inbetween. I show below how.

I can recommend this tool to pick a colour and create an RGB-Code (used it quite a lot for another project):

Next you need to convert the values into values from 0 to 1 by deviding each value by 255.

Example: I uploaded a colour pallette as a reference to pick from; then picked a shade of orange. The site displays the rgba-code (245,119,34,255). You can ignore the last value, this is the opacity.

The converted RGB-code after deviding the values by 255 is (0.96,0.47,0.13). Put in those values as the colour code for the rimlights.

Et voila, you created an orange glow ✨:

Of course, you can also adjust the colour of the main lighting the same way.

I can’t be the only person out there with more skin detail and tattoo CC than sense, right? And given the lack of filtering on those two categories, it becomes a total nightmare to navigate and work out if you can use this overlay with that set of freckles… what about this body hair with these tattoos? It’s the worst.

So I made these! They won’t do anything to your sim when you put them on - that’s not what they’re for. They work more like labels! These items will always show at the very beginning of each sub-category, even above any items added by EA. That way, you can tell at a glance what slot a given tattoo or skin detail will take up when you put it on your sim… which means no more guesswork when you’re layering them up!

im not rlly feeling good about my blog or just about anything right now. but im still creating stuff for my personal gameplay which i thought id share anyway. this is a skin detail blush with 15 different swatches, 3 shades of red, 5 opacities each. essentially a remake of my booboo blush.

in cheek scar(gf required) or left lip mole category

for everyone

i know its incompatible with many eyeliners and im sorry thats just how it is. to fix this requires changing the composition method of this blush which makes it look extremely pale and shiny. however I havent tried changing the composition method of the eyeliner itself which i believe may fix the issue

Annabel Bedroom Suite - 7 New Furniture Pieces for TS4

I am aiming to do more smaller sets rather then getting stuck on bigger sets that drain my creative energy. Often, it is decor items that take the longest to create because you have to tie it to everything. I have a lot of ideas that have languished because they weren’t ‘complete.’ However, small furniture-only sets would solve that problem and allow me to explore more styles without the burden or finding complimenting items. This bedroom suite is one such idea. Missing country and coastal styles together, I think this has become a perfect modern classic to mix with my other content, particularly my Hamptons series. Designed to fit my luxurious bedding, or standard separated mattresses, this should give a little more variation to your bedrooms.
