after all (for example) moirallegiance is basically like asking someone to take care of you in a relationship WHICH is basically demanding emotional labor from them, and demanding emotional labor from your partners makes you a bad person and your relationship automatically toxic. not to mention the origins of moirallegiance has roots in misogyny!!!!

we also have to do away with human romance for like the same exact reasons, and probably friendship too. humans only date each other because of their society’s extremely misogynistic pressure on them to get married!! being in a relationship is literally a stress response for a human!!

and as for friendship well now we’re back to demanding emotional labor from people. friendship was forcibly evolved in humans so they could survive harsh circumstances and it’s likely inherently traumatic for them

we need to get rid of interpersonal relationships completely basically because all of them come from early societal pressures and stigmas that are extremely misogynistic and racist. that’s why amarica’s model of individualism is the most unproblematic

i think we need to go even further: i think it's time we FINALLY admit that all human romance and red romance is toxic and that they should all switch over to the infinitely healthier and more beautiful and purer leprechaun romance or cherub romance at least

red romance is definitely toxic though like did you see vriska/tavros? i swear these people who worship red romance don't know anything about media.

rosemary do a "red romance" or whatever but it barely counts because it's basically just human romance but with an alien which is totally different from human/human romance. even then i don't really like rosemary because rose is a selfish and cold bastard all of the time so it really doesnt count as red romance at all

on earth, humans are forced into human pairs by societal pressure for procreation. karkat (the character most often wrong about romance) even tries to do this to the beta kids!

i’m so tired of people trying to make up ideas of "healthy" human/human relationships. especially since we have examples of ACTUALLY healthy ships that become canon, and ALL of them are human/alien. there's literally no reason a human would ever actually want to date another human, it is only something they are forced into. this is completely obvious if you know anything about media literacy.

honestly i don’t trust that karkat knows anything about quadrants. he gets his information from romcoms and bodice rippers; which as we all know, MUCH like his rants about quadrants, exist in a vacuum and have zero basis in reality, nor can they say anything about real life society or romance.

there has never been ANY proof of quadrants working like karkat says they do irl (eg pitch being affectionate).
