Life Update!

I’ll be completely honest. I have not been writing 😅 it’s a combination of writer’s block and also I have a kitten now! So I’ve been easily distracted by his cuteness.

But fret not! I have at least 3 one shots I need to finish for the Hermione’s Haven bingo event. They have to be posted by the 29th 😅 so you bet I’m gonna try and finish those soon (they’ve been sitting in the drafts for months).

Life update!

I’m on leave from work, however, I don’t know how much writing I’ll be getting done.

I’m out of town staying with my dad helping him out. He had a major surgery a month ago for his spine and because of the pandemic I hadn’t been able to come before now since we live in separate provinces 😅

But I’ll definitely try to get at least wfms(m) updated by the end of the month!

I think I want to change my username across all my platforms? I can't decide yet. In other news, I did a lot of writing during my 4-day break! But they're not ready for posting. Maybe by the end of the week if I'm not too tired after work to get some writing in.

Do you consider fanfiction legitimate writing?

I won the 2004 Hugo Award for Best Short Story for an H. P. Lovecraft /Arthur Conan Doyle mashup fiction, so fanfiction had better be legitimate, because I'm not giving the Hugo back.

Or the 20O5 Locus Award for Best Novelette. I'm not giving that back either.

Uhmmm. If you're asking me when my next update is? I'm not 100% sure. I've been having trouble finishing all my drafts to move forward into the "final copy" stage. BUT next week I have 4 days off from work, so I'm reallllllyyyy hoping I can get caught up in most of my writing, maybe even try and post something. If you're asking me what I'd likely be updating first? It's probably going to be words for my soul(mate). If it's not that, I'll likely be posting the Jacob Black/Hermione comm and/or the Bookshop AU one-shot. These are the main 3 projects I've been focusing on at the moment. Mostly because the muse has been slow and I've only managed to write about a paragraph a day.

Hmmmm. I don’t think I’ll write anything that might focus on cheating/affairs. I can’t write them ?? I can read them sometimes but veryyyy rarely. Unfortunately a very traumatic experience in my childhood turned me off from these topics 😅

I's been a long, long time but Anon references this buckynat picture.

And hell yeah but my hand slipped and things kinda escalated to the Wilsons and their adopted ex-assassin.

It was drawn back in May which was cold and awful and I just really missed idea of a really warm sunny day on a beach (even if I hardly ever spend time on a beach :D)
